I really like the taste and texture, the flavor doesn’t last very long for me because I chew gum at night for a nervous tongue biting issue, my nite guard was not helping.You might have to chew two because the sizes are smaller than the popular gums with all the warnings on the labels…:-(But I’m very happy with this gum, the flavors are not as intense as the popular gum flavors maybe that’s what so addictive about them also maybe it’s all the chemicals that help them to make the flavors so strong? I got the container out of the package, broke the freshness seal, and the smell was familiar. It took me a bit to remember what it was, but to me it smells almost exactly like Juicy Fruit! I was surprised but not complaining, I would do Juicy Fruit super rarely but I always loved it. Now that I'm doing keto, an equivalent that isn't going to severely impact my carbs is awesome.Others have commented on the flavor not lasting very long, and I will admit that it gets much weaker in the first 5 or so minutes, but not gone. We love the spearmint gum and it's so hard to find gum without artificial colors or sweeteners. But when you have autistic, ADHD, sensory etc children you don't want them to have those things but gum can be an awesome oral stimulation and help them calm down. Then my sons dentist recommended a xylitol gum with a good percentage of xylitol to strengthen his teeth (and thankfully the spry his sister and I chew was on the list of gums with a good xylitol content). So even though his older sister and I LOVE the spearmint flavor I decided to give the fresh fruit a try for the littler kids.I was very leary at first because "fresh fruit" is not the most descriptive term since there are a million different fruit. If it tastes like a fruit salad or strawberries my kids will love it but if it tastes like a fresh mango they'll spit it right back out. I figured that even if the kids and I didn't like it, my husband (who eats any fruit) would. But the best description I can give for the taste is a really good, fresher tasting original juicy fruit flavor. I can't speak to how well this gum actually works or doesn't work for oral health, especially as I've gotten it to use to slightly mitigate my poor oral hygiene habits and not as part of an actual proper routine with brushing and everything. But it tastes good, lasts for a decent amount of time (by which I mean, the flavor lasts for a decent amount of time, and then you can continue chewing for quite a bit longer, the gum itself doesn't do that thing where it starts disintegrating or loses texture quickly).I'm making this review solely for people like me who wondered "hey, what does the Fresh Fruit flavor taste like?" and I've looked at the reviews here that say it tastes like juicy fruit and I don't know if it is taste bud difference or if the flavor has changed but to me it tastes and smells of bubblegum. My wife purchased this gum. After some good advice about this going from a friend of ours. Gum was good but it didn’t seem like it lasted any longer than some cheap bazooka bubblegum. Buyer beware prepare that when you pop a piece in your mouth you’re only going to be chewing it for probably about five minutes before it gets really hard and the taste is gone. It’s pretty sad for a gum like this to not last as long I wish it would’ve lasted longer. I have however purchased the peppermint flavored gum by the same company and it lasts a few hours so I don’t know what the differences between the cinnamon, fruit and spearmint flavored and the peppermint flavored gum. My son, now 11, has never really paid attention to wanting gum or not. However, the last 6 months or so he has wanted to try gum. He sees all the ones his friends chew. He also doesn't want to have the habit of chewing most of them due to the sugar, food coloring, chemicals, etc. We purchased a few other more 'natural' brands but he didn't like them at all! I've been using Spry (Peppermint) for many many years. He tried mine, liked it, but it was a little to 'minty hot' for him. Well, when I read other's comments about the flavor not lasting long, I must comment that I don't chew this gum for the flavor, I chew it for the dental BENEFITS. Especially after my dentist recommended xylitol because it can reduce bacteria growth and prevent bacteria from sticking. I had to read labels to make sure it didn't contain the dreaded titanium dioxide either. And though I am not too thrilled about the soy, or ingredients from China, everything is a trade off and I figure the benefits of three pieces a day outweigh the hazards. Flavor is fruity and light, does not last long, but I only chew it between meals for a couple of minutes to "clean" my teeth.
