First off, yes, it does lose flavor pretty quickly (within 5 minutes, probably 3 tbh). A tiny hint of mint hangs around for a bit longer, but it’s super faint. I’m not sure how it measures up to most other sugar free gums, but I did buy this and the PUR bubblegum at the same time, so I’m just gonna compare them.I know the flavor doesn’t last as long as PUR gum in the same flavor. The texture is also a little bit tougher than PUR. On the one hand, this makes it a little more work to chew, which doesn’t feel great. On the other hand, if you like to chew gum long after losing flavor, it can stand up to a longer chewing session. The PUR has a more pleasant, softer texture, but it can feel kinda like it’s about to dissolve in your mouth after a bit.The big deal breaker with me for this gum is that it’s minty, more of a bubble-mint than a true bubblegum. Personally, I hate the flavor of mint (which is why I ordered bubblegum…), but my friend who enjoys mint loved the flavor. It did make me dock a star, though. Not because I personally don’t like it, but because it’s not the flavor that’s advertised. If you just label it as bubble-mint then people like me who dislike that will know to avoid, and people like my friend will know to seek it out. Read more
The taste is great. The flavor doesn’t last very long about five minutes at the most. However, I chew it because my dentist told me xylitol prevents cavities if you chew it or have a piece of hard candy with it a few times a day. He said you only had to chew the gum about five minutes. This gum is tender and doesn’t hurt your jaw. Serves my needs. Read more
This is a good sugar-free gum. I don't like having to hide it away on a top shelf so the dog doesn't get poisoned (xylitol), but it is worth the hassle to have a sugar-free gum that tastes good, has few mystery ingredients and doesn't contain mint or cinnamon. Read more
Flavor lasts about 2 seconds and then it tastes like nothing and you are just chewing on the smallest piece of gum known to man. Amazing flavor which made me hopeful but not worth it at all. There are far better options. Read more
