Like the title says. ive been using these brushes for years and love them, minus the sound. I bought two recently and had to buy the second one cause my brush is a dark blue and my husband is a light blue, and he keeps using my brush lol. So i bought the second one, happy it wasnt blue, and i noticed the batteries were dying out fast and more water was getting into the battery compartment. One day it stopped working completely. drained the compartment, air dryed it all day and gave it a good wipe down before putting in new batteries, no joy. it stopped working. had it about two weeks, bought it from amazon and not any other sellers. its now trash, thanks! The motor stopped working on my old spinbrush pro so I bought this as a replacement. The old spinbrush is years old (not sure the exact age tbh) but I have no complaints. The battery life is good and the motor is strong. I like the system Spinbrush has implemented to indicate when it's time to change the toothbrush head (when the ends of the bristles fade completely to white). I don't remember why I originally was drawn to purchase a toothbrush made by Spinbrush as opposed to Oral-B or some other brand that I have yet to try, but I'm happy with my choice. Read more

This toothbrush was recommended to me by a dental hygienist at my dentist's office. I have been using a regular toothbrush for years, but decided to give the spinbrush a try, as she swore this was her favorite. So far, I have enjoyed this arm & hammer spin brush. It is super easy to use and doesn't run through batteries like I had imagined. It was also very affordable! Good use of money! - Yup, it's exactly what it is described as being. I've been using the old one for so long that the housing started to loosen, and rather than try to glue it, I ordered a new one :) - The color is pretty much "catch as catch can", but thankfully, they sent me a nice subtle silver-grey - my older one is blue, so I can't mix them up. I'll keep the older one for "miscellaneous tasks", like polishing small items, because it still *works*, I just don't want to get water or mouthwash into it. - I tested the new one, and it works just fine. They even included batteries ;) The fittings seem to be universal across the product line, so one can use whichever *head* one prefers; I like a basic Soft, which is what this one came with. The heads for the Spinbrush are also a good size, just about the same as a regular toothbrush head, which I also like. I like the dual action, too. It's effective, without vibrating the stuffings out of my hand ;) - When the batteries go, I replace them with rechargeable Li-Ion batteries, which work just fine. Read more

The toothbrush seemed to be a good quality product right out of the box. Unfortunately after a few weeks I noticed that the motor was not as strong as when I first bought it. Eventually the brush stopped working after about a month of use, I inserted new batteries and it has ceased to work at all. I’ve tried other batteries and it’s evident that it’s something to do with the toothbrush itself.I’m not sure if this happened to be a faulty item that I received but I even noticed that the quality of the paint started to chip off and it looks extremely cheap. My father had some stains on his teeth (he's in his 80's) and the dentist just mentioned them, but didn't say anything about removing them. This led us to believe he was just stuck with them. I got this toothbrush for his gingivitis because of the great reviews here, and lo and behold, in about 5 weeks, we saw the stains were disappearing. Original Review July 8, 2015: "Works great, no issues :)"Updated Review September 2016: I expected (for some reason) for this “Arm & Hammer Classic Spinbrush Toothbrush (Battery Operated” to last for quite awhile, so I ordered extra brush tips. I used the toothbrush for about 3 months and the battery died, no problem. Put new batteries in it, and it worked for another month or so and then suddenly the Spinbrush just stopped working. My husband, the ‘handyman extraordinaire’ even looked at it and I had high hopes for it to return to live, no such luck. I ended up having to throw it in the recycling bin. I must say that I was pretty disappointed. I am going to, (I believe this to be reasonable), drop my review to a (4) star rating because I truly expected this Spinbrush to last at least (6) months.I apologize it took me so long to write the updated review, I had a major back surgery and have been completely pretty much useless.Thank you for taking the time to read our review! I bought the toothbrushes for my children one of them worked well but the other one stopped working after one week. It cames with the batteries on. So I opened it to change the batteries because I thought they were dead but what I saw was that it had water inside and the batteries were rusted from all that water.
