I've been using these Spenco inserts for many years. I put them in all my running shoes, hiking boots, and riding boots. They extend the life of my feet and legs all day long! A real life saver when you are on your feet sometimes 15 hours a day! And reasonably priced here on Amazon above the brick and mortar stores and sport shops that want to charge double! Love these better than gel inserts, better than Dr. Scholl's inserts which are price and can't hold up like these. I will continue to buy these in the future. Normally, I still end up with foot and knee pain even with custom or other variety of inserts. However, I put these inserts to the test in my combat boots. I had 2 long weeks of field training, was up mountains, in the forest, in sand, in muddy terrain, you name it. Walked well over 100 miles. I HAD NO KNEE OR FOOT PAIN! I am a physician whose speciality is Occupational Medicine, When I first tried Spenco orthotic with polysorb myself playing squash many years ago, I was amazed at the shock absorption properties and found my feet no longer felt tired or sore. I then ordered them then for the workers at a cement plant who were walking on concrete all day in hard safety boots and many had sore feet. To their amazement the Spenco with Polysorb solved their aching feet problems. I am now 72 and all my shoes have Spenco in them as it feels as if I am in the most comfortable slippers. All the polysorb products made by them behave the same way. Do not use those without the yellow polysorb as they just do not cut it. Whenever I go to buy a new pair of shoes I bring along a pair of the orthotics to make sure my foot will fit inside the shoe when the orthotic is in. That is important. Read more

As soon as my inserts were delivered, my husband had to try them in his shoes and, well, I had to buy yet another couple. They arrived fairly quickly. It takes a couple days of wear to get over the initial feeling. They definitely do provide relief if you're on your feet all day or walking all day. It would be nice if they were a bit thicker to provide more cushion. Good purchase overall, and recommended. Read more
