After reading reviews, I ordered 1 size DOWN. My 7-year-old petite daughter wears a size 12 tennis shoe. She has a pair of New Balance and Sketchers, both size 12. So I ordered her water shoes in a size 11. I like the arch in these shoes. They fit perfectly now but will not fit her next year. Heading to the Bahamas with these, we will see how they hold up. This shoe fit too large based on size chart. I recommend the seller adjust the size chart. We did not finally purchase because they fit too large and we found a better quality water shoe on Amazon. Overall the shoe was a 3 out of 5 on quality but the sizing chart and designs was a 2 out of 5. Water shoes need straps or great design. We returned this product because it didn’t meet standards. Other reviews said to buy them 2 sizes smaller than usual shoe size -- try THREE sizes smaller! These things are HUGE -- Hey, Speedo -- how about fixing your sizing issues? I’m not sure if it’s because the shoes are a little big or it’s the design of cuff but when my daughter wears these she gets rubbed raw around her ankles. Other than that, I like the coverage and the colors are nice. Quality is as I expected. Read more

My son normally wears a size 4 but I read in reviews that these watershoes run large so we went down to a size 3. Length of the shoe wise he definitely could have gone down to a size 2 but wouldn’t be comfortable with the size of the ankle area. Definitely go down at least one full size. Read more

These are nice water shoes for my little grandson with chubby feet. These provide him comfort and space. I just wish they came in more sizes. He is a size 8. The shoes are size8/9 which means they are big for him at this point. Read more
