Amazon Prime is a lifesaver! I accidentally dropped and broke one of my Spectra 2 backflow protectors (just one plastic piece that connects to the back of the cone part, the other 2 pieces that were a part of the set were intact). These genuine backflow protectors are a PERFECT replacement. 2 sets come in the package so now I have additional parts already at home if needed. I had to use my semi-loud Medela PIS from my first child as a backup while waiting for the parts to arrive. Now I am back to using my favorite and quieter pump. Yay! Read more

I just wanted to share that this is amazzzzzing! It's even better than the original part, because the part that connects to the tube is longer than the original. I'm so sick of the tubes falling off and this one doesn't!!! I also noticed that moisture doesn't get in as easily so I don't have to wash this part every time. Attached pictures to show the difference, the right is original that came with my spectra pump and left is this one sold by hy house. These are the actual Spectra brand! One of the pieces broke from my original that came with my pump and I was freaking out trying to find a new part. I had to use my medela pump for a few days while I received this. However, I received it 3 days after the scheduled 2 day delivery with price. It is a tempfix, but I'm still rather disappointed. They sometimes slide off if you're not careful. I also noticed it does not create enough suction like the original Spectra backflow protectors. I was pumping 5-6 oz per breast regularly with the original and barely pumping 3oz per breast with these. I still fill full. Orderd my original parts and now I'm able to pump and empty more efficiently with the original parts. Read more

So happy to have replacement parts. I broke a piece from my original pump parts.These look identical and are marked spectra just like the originals. As expected for my Spectra 2. Would recommend to everyone to buy these to help with those late night/early morning pump sessions where you are just too tired to wash the one set of parts that came with your pump. Having an extra set of these allows you get a few extra minutes of sleep between pumps as you can worry about catching up on washing the parts when the sun comes up. Read more

I bought these after a few months when it came time replace my pump parts again. Until these, I'd only used the backflow protectors that came specifically with my pump. While these fit the flanges and tubing fine, the three pieces that comprise the protector don't seem to fit with each other snugly. I pump at work and the large plastic pieces are constantly falling off when I attempt to disconnect the tubes, pack or unpack my bag, take them off to wash flanges. I wouldn't purchase them again... it would be too big of an issue for me to end up at work without a needed piece. Read more
