I love this suppliment! I have been suffering for years with low blood pressure and it's effects on my extremities, me always being unreasonably cold and my dizziness. I take this licorice root to help control my low blood pressure. We have no medicine here in the US to help low blood pressure, only in Europe. It stops me from being dizzy when i bend down and keeps my low blood pressure from falling lower. All my doctors tell me this is the best thing for me to take. Licorice root helps keep salt in your system and Its also good for liver function. I guess i dont eat enough of salt in my diet. I cook all my food from scratch and i dont eat fast foods. I take two Solaray Licorice, daily, along with other supplements for a shingles attack. Since it is intake with other products like L-Argnine and Lysine to obtain the overall result, it is difficult to say that licorice alone works.
