I purchased this because I wash my hands a ton and I go through soap too quickly. I thought this might be a better option long term and take up less space than a huge refill bottle since they are just tablets.I messed up the first batch by putting in too much water (I filled it to the brim but it only calls for a cup) so I poured that into a different soap dispenser and started again to have a better idea of the product.You fill it with a cup of warm water and drop a soap tablet in and then wait roughly 30 minutes for it to dissolve. After that you can put on the pump and it’s ready to use. When you pump it the foam is adequate. I’m not sure if it’s just me but there is a vinegar smell to the soap but I cannot smell it once I wash the soap away.One tablet creates 8 ounces of soap and once I use it up I’ll update this review with more thoughts. Great concept, needs some tweaking! I really like the idea of using less plastic so this seems great. It was easy to use. I just put 8 oz of warm water in the bottle and dropped the tablet in and it makes soap. It is a thinner foaming hand soap but comparable to other foaming hand soaps I have used. The scents are too strong for me but I will probably keep using because it is more eco friendly and a good price point. I would still like it if it was a plastic bottle, that would make it easier to see for filling the water. I love my Blueland brand ones but the bottles are glass and that doesn’t work with children. One would think lemon and lavender would smell good. Not with these! The smell is almost like a cheap bathroom/petroleum like scent with fake lemon and lavender mixed in. Of course, I cannot return now after trying it and mixing the soap. Terrible. Read more

The foaming soap tablets work alright in a generic dispenser we have, and it foams just fine. It feels like it leaves a residue on my hands, and when I washed my hands while they were dry and a little cracked, it stung really bad. Normal soap doesn't sting like that. I don't really like these and will probably not get them again. I thought the dry tablets would be a little more efficient with the shipping and all, but they're put in so much packaging it's really not much better than the liquid refills. Didn't like this at all. It didn't even soap up. I felt like I was washing my hands with just water. There were steps you had to do before the soap was supposedly ready for use but even after the steps, I would say that product was a DUD. Read more

I should have listened to the reviews but I love regular softsoap and hoped reviews were wrong. They weren't. Thee are terrible. I had to use two instead of one in 8oz of water to get any foam, and the perfume smell was so cloyingly overwhelming it was disgusting. Dumped it out. Read more

The bottom line is the soap you generate from these pellets is not the same as the soap you get when you buy the liquid refills. It’s neither as creamy nor as thick, so you have to pump it several times to get enough on your hands to get them clean. The pellets arrived broken - in fact several of them were like powder - and didn’t dissolve properly. I even tried distilled water and that didn’t help. Finally, Amazon sent us lavender instead of lemon, which was annoying, but probably didn’t affect the efficacy of the product.
