So far I love the Amla hair care products-I bought the whole line after seeing it listed as the "Best Frizz Fighting Product" when I saw the prices, I didn't have a lot of hope cause they were so inexpensive, but I guess you don't have to spend a fortune to get a decent product. So far I have been using shampoo, conditioner, and hot oil and I LOVE IT. My hair is usually poofy and takes a lot of working with to make it cooperate, but once styled my hair looks great and is really soft too. I don't notice an overwhelming smell that some have complained about, I wouldn't mind if it did have a scent though to be honest I like hair that smells good. Read more

I got this to see if it helps with hair growth. While I am not sure about that,I can say it totally got rid of my dry scalp. That alone was a huge plus! Not a fan of the scent but I just give an extra rinse. It also does make my hair soft, overall a decent product. Read more

Love it, love it, love it. I have bought very expensive shampoos to help with my dry hair and did not have very good results. I decided to give the SoftShhen shampoo a try. This shampoo is amazing. After one use my hair was so soft and shiny and the shampoo smells really good. My advice is to give this shampoo a try before forking out a lot of money on expensive brand name shampoos. I decided to give this a try given that it's a afro hair product. I use Head & Shoulders that had shampoo and conditioner all in one and cream of nature. Left my hair soft after setting up a few min while I showered. Tried the same w this product and my hair didn't get soft. In fairness, this is not shampoo and conditioner all in one. Cannot beat this for the price point! The shampoo + conditioner have a warm, earthy, vanilla-esque scent that lasts throughout the day, not to mention that it dramatically cleans and softens my coarse 4B-4C hair. Recommend! Read more
