MEDICAL ADHESIVE REMOVER: Life doesn't stop even when health care happens at home. UNI-SOLVE Adhesive Remover softens residue from the appliances and dressing tape you use every day. It minimizes skin trauma caused by adhesive removal and keeps your care routine running as smoothly as possible. NON-SENSITIZING & NON-IRRITATING LIQUID: This skin adhesive remover has a pleasant fragrance with no harsh odor and doesn't contain ozone-depleting chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). It also has aloe, which soothes and moisturizes the skin without greasiness. CONVENIENT HOME-CARE SUPPLIES: This product removes acrylic-based, rubber-based, and hydrocolloid-based residues from your skin. When you are finished using it, close the bottle’s safety cap by pushing the spout back down. This ensures safe closure and prevents product evaporation. HOW TO USE: Apply UNI-SOLVE with a cotton applicator or gauze to the edge of the tape or a medical appliance. Squeeze the bottle gently until fluid flows between the skin and the adhesive. Wash skin with soap and water, then rinse and pat dry. Do not apply remover to open wounds or mucous membranes. OUR PROMISE: Smith & Nephew has pioneered health solutions since 1856 with one mission: to use technology to take the limits off living. Our bodies should never put our potential on hold, so this two-word promise inspires all that we do: Life Unlimited.

An absolute must if you have to wear medical equipment in a day to day basis! I have to change equipment sites every 3 days and even with skintac adhesive being used this product works great. Just a couple of drops and about 2 minutes or so the device painlessly falls off be itself. I always make sure i have this in my supply drawer at home. 10 stars! Because 5 starts just doesn't cut it Read more

I've been fortunate enough to not have to undergo many medical procedures, but I started wearing a Libre glucose monitor, and had been experimenting with  Skin Tac  and adhesive patches to keep it on. Right off the bat, the adhesive on the Libre leaves a residue that no amount of alcohol seemed to completely remove.I had heard about Uni-Solve from other Libre users, and was kind of apprehensive about the cost -- especially the wipes. It just didn't seem like I needed that much to remove sensor residue, but it was driving me insane. I had debated between Uni-Solve and another product from the same company called Remove, which cost much less at the time. I couldn't tell the difference, but figured Uni-Solve was what the Libre manufacturer recommended, so I played it safe and opted for the bottle to try to stretch my dollar. On my first application, I used a cotton ball, and was gobsmacked by how the adhesive I had been fighting with FOR A DAY -- even after alcohol wipes and a shower -- came right off with hardly any effort. The second time I used it, I applied just enough to the head of a  Q-Tip  to see if that worked. Sure enough, just a tiny bit on the head of a Q-Tip was enough to make the adhesive less tacky. And with the same amount on the other side of the Q-Tip, it took off all of the Libre residue. At that rate, this bottle is probably going to last for a year or more -- if I hadn't started using it more frequently. Now that I use  Flexd patches for my Libre , I don't even bother with the alcohol wipes. Just a bit of this on a couple of Q-Tips, and all of the adhesive is gone. The best part is that despite the fairly strong odor from the bottle, this doesn't leave any noticeable residue or odor on my skin, so I can take my morning shower, deal with the sensor later in the day (since you're not supposed to apply them for a couple hours after you've showered) and not walk around town smelling like a doctor's office.Awesome product. I really wish I had discovered it sooner! Read more

This was an absolute lifesaver for my spouse who had a long period that needed wound dressing. It had become a torturous experince removing tape daily and her skin became as this as paper. This stuff solved the problem. Apply it to the bandage material and it came off no hassle. Was even able to use very good adhesive tape that stayed on and allowed pressurized bandaging (paper tape, easier to remove , just wouldn't stay on).Although I hit 5 stars for value for money, there is really no price too much. The price given was compatible to surgical supply houses. Would use this no matter what. Read more

I'm a Type 1 diabetic and recently had back surgery. I use a Dexcom G6 CGM and an Omnipod pump. I normally wear them on my stomach but I was told that the entire stomach area had to be completely free of anything. So I had to put one on each arm. After reading a review on one of the diabetes boards, I learned that if you get the BOTTLE vs wipes, all you have to do is douse the entire upper arm with the remover and it will come off much easer than trying to use the wipes. They were correct and it worked just as described. Just make sure you have plenty of paper towels, though, because it does come out rather quickly. Read more

I have very sensitive skin and I found many of the adhesive removers to be very irritating to my skin. I had to really scrub to get every bit of the adhesive and it would leave my skin red and itchy. When I tried Skin and Nephew, I was very happy. I can put some on a cotton ball and rub it over the adhesive area. I let it set for about fifteen seconds. Then, using the same cotton ball ( I don't add any more adhesive remover.) , I rub it over the area one more time. That's all it takes. I always rub the area over with a damp facecloth, with just warm water on it, to remove any residue. I dry the area and I'm good to go. I don't have to put anything with any adhesive on the same area for another twenty-four hours. I can do so with no problem. I strongly recommend this product which I've been using for almost ten years! Read more

Used this on a new tile floor where we saw extra adhesive on the tiles. We scrapped off excess manually then used this solvent to clean up any residue left on the title; it came right up with minimal elbow grease. After a mop job, you can’t tell where the adhesive was. I will keep this on hand for sure to remove any sticky goop. Read more

I use this to remove sensor and pump from my son's skin who is type 1 diabetic. I apply directly to the sensor and pump adhesive stickers until they are visibly wet which doesn't take much (I don't put on cotton ball first). I then let it sit for about one minute before removing and it works very well. If any gummy adhesive is left on skin I use a washcloth with soap to wipe it off or will apply some Uni-Solve via a cotton ball if needed. One bottle of this last me a long time. Read more

I used this solvent to remove a Libre blood glucose detector patch. Previously I was getting bruising and contusions when I peeled them off even gently. This time I applied UNI-SOLVE ADHESIVE REMOVER to the edge of the adhesive with a cotton bud, the solvent immediately crept in and the edge was easily lifted. I worked right across the device easily. No residue either. Read more

First became aware of this product while in the military. Primary used for removing adhesive from bandaids and diabetic sensors. Also works extremely well for removing adhesives from almost any material (have not found anything it does not work on). Well worth the price. Read more
