At last !!! a Tupperware mold to replace the one I lost in a dishwasher incident ten Thanksgivings ago. I've been having to use bowls. Boo. No pretty Jell-O mold on the table.This thing is . . . well, perfect. It unmolds easily and makes for a lovely presentation. My family laughs at me over how excited I get over the Jell-O, but this was the first year it all got eaten.My last mold was handed down to me from my mother. This one promises to last equally long. I haven't made a jello mold in a very long time, so when I had to make one for a party I went with this one because it was a reliable brand. What a unique product! I mean, I know, how unique can a jello mold ring be? It's a jello mold, why should I be excited about that? In my very limited experience making molds in the past I found them difficult to get out looking as pretty as they should. I would wiggle and jiggle and shake the thinking hoping it would come out in one pretty piece. No worrying about that with this one. There are three parts to this ingenious design. A flat rubbery round green lid, a white hard plastic outer ring, and a soft green rubbery molded plastic inner ring. The soft inner and hard outer ring link together like attaching a Tupperware lid. Then fill the mold with your delicious jello concoction, attach the flat lid and let it set up. When ready to serve remove the lid, invert over your serving plate, and peel away the inner ring from the outer ring. This gets rid of any suction and the mold slides out effortlessly and looking beautiful. I'll use this in a few weeks to make an ice mold for a shower and I'm glad I won't have to worry about running it under hot water just to get it unstuck. Great, simple, unique product. Great little buy. I've never owned a jello mold before so I thought this would be fun. I was hoping id receive the green colored one but I got red, which is no big deal. I sprayed the inside lightly with pam and wiped it out with a paper towel beforehand just in case and it came out wonderfully! Read more
I don't cook a lot but every Thanksgiving and Christmas I like to make my mothers cranberry jello ring mold. It goes really well with turkey or ham and every body likes it. This mold works very well. I keep promising to use it for the other purposes like an ice and flower ring in a punch bowl but haven't yet. My friend who has one does as she holds a lot of parties and she really likes it. After spending time researching this as a gift, I selected this product for its fun retro color. The one received was red instead of mint (despite the product name and all the pictures). I could have gotten red for less and with much quicker delivery from a number of other vendors. Read more
This is the best Jello mold ever for ease of use. Just flip it onto the plate, separate the green inner section and the jello all falls out of the mold onto the serving plate. Dishwasher safe and easy to clean. It closes completely for easy transportation when needed. Read more
