I’ve been using this For over a year now. Last year I started using several skinfood products because of good recommendations by a couple of beauty bloggers I follow that follow the Japanese and Korean skincare routine that are much more elaborate than what is usually done by women in the us. I’m so glad I did! I started using their recommended multi step process: washing, toner, serum and then moisturizer to finish. My skin has completely. No more adult cystic acne and usually only a minor break out if I (gasp!) don’t wash my face before bed. My skin is soft, wrinkles and bags under my eyes have dissapeared. Acne scars are fading and even hormone cycles only Bria few very minor breakouts at that time of month that heal in just a few days. I am not going to lie- skin care for a long time consisted of washing alone because I didn’t know I was allergic to coconut so it seemed like everything I tried just made things worse. I’m very happy with this powder!It’s white but it goes on translucent. I don’t use much though so not sure if it would give you more a white appearance if you use more?I don’t use the little round puff pad it came with. I use a big, soft blush brush, which I love as it goes on nicely and the brush feels gently on my face.As for the scent, it’s a very light, peachy scent. I actually love it! It doesn’t last long so if you’re not too keen on the scent but still want to try it I recommend getting it. I love Skinfood so much!!! It is the one product my face loves!! I have very oily and sensitive skin. I can't even touch my skin without breaking into hives. I originally was using their Facial Water Vita-C Cream, but for some reason Skinfood stopped making it (which broke my heart). When I saw their new line of product (Peach Cotton products), I decided to try it. I love this product so much (I mean I still prefer their Vita-C cream). With this cream I have to use both the emulsion and the cream to get a nice moisture to my face. Usually with their Vita-C cream I can wear it on it's own. So if you decide to try the cream, I recommend you buy the emulsion as well. I usually wear the emulsion and cream during the day since it's so light weight and my face has the tendency to be oily during the day. I previously purchased Invisimatte Blotting Powder (Fenty), which was not cheap for its size, to help with oil control for my t-zone/combo skin and I was mildly pleased with its performance. I stumbled across this finishing powder by SkinFood and I took a gamble. I purchased the smaller size (5g) initially as I've never used SkinFood powder products before, only their masks which I love. This powder is amazing, did not disappoint, outperformed the pricier competition easily. I pat all over, let sit for about five minutes, then brush in with a face brush and apply the remainder of my makeup. No oily t-zone all day- I work 12 hour shifts- plus the smell is tops. I love this powder. I was disappointed though that the compact was received broken and most of the powder fell out. Maybe some better packaging instead of just tossing it in the box for shipment.
