I’ve tried a variety of objects, to hold my hair back while putting on my nightly routine, and also to hold back my hair, as I prepare my face for my daily routine. These headbands are nice to wrap around your hair while washing your face. They are soft for your skin and hair and they keep any makeup remover or face cleanser off your hair. I like the fabric and the size. They are easy to put on and wrap around but sometimes they like to grab my hair in the velcro and I end up having to tuck it up underneath. You also need to be careful to get them wrapped securely or the will slide off your hair, or they do on mine. Over all, really nice. Read more

I notice the reviews really change depending on the specific model of this product. I bought the white microfibre ones and they work well. I have a small head and they are almost too big, but I get enough velcro contact for secure fit. I find that normal headbands ride up on my head (conehead?), but these do not move. I wear to wash my face, etc. I have not worn it for a long time or to exercise, but they don't seem to be made for that. They are soft and seem to wash easily. Read more

These headbands are so huge that it’s impossible to wrap around and use the Velcro. I would say I have an average size head lol ... my husband even tried it and it was so loose on him as well he couldn’t attach to the Velcro either! The only way to use is to tie a knot which is useless. It’s probably at least double the size it should be. The material is soft but 1 star b/c I can’t use it. Very dissatisfied. I was expecting a band that would stretch to fit. What I received instead are three bands of a shallow waffle weave cotton or more likely polyester, not a stretchy microfibre as described. Mine measures 25.5" in length which is important. This is one of the longest spa headbands I could find. At this length, I can comfortably do up the velcro. I don't think I have an abnormally large head. I did notice on reviews with other items, the length was a regular problem. The material is a thinnish microfibre. Stichting and quality are excellent. The design improvement that I suggest is that the velcro is a bit stronger and a little wider. As a new product, it has no problem holding back my wet long hair, but I do worry when fluff gets into the velcro from multiple washings. (I recommend that you do up the velcros and pop them into a washbag for the washing machine.) However, you don't want the velcro too strong, otherwise, hair could get caught in it. I would really like the velcro to be a little wider, so you could fit the headband on a little differently without it bunching up. Read more
