I have six kids and I’m not into washing 100 cups a day so my kids use water bottles almost exclusively. I have been on the hunt for years for a durable, leak proof water bottle, and this is by far the best one I’ve found.1. Durability. I also prefer not to buy 50 water bottles a year, so durable is a must. My kids have used these water bottles daily for five months now. And my children are not always as gentle as I would like. They all have minor dents in them. One has a major dent. One is cracking at the top and when submerged, water fills the part between in inner layer and the outer layer. But they all still have plenty of life in them! I am also very impressed with how well the paint is holding up. It’s coming off in some places, but overall they still look good. The only other water bottle we’ve had that came even close in the durability department in the Klean Kanteen bottles. But their paint chipped of fairly quickly. I also appreciate that the spout as are hard plastic. No amount of biting will mess up the spouts.2. Leakproof. They are still leak proof *when used properly*. If the spout is up and the bottle is laying on its side, it will leak. With the spout down it does not leak at all.Those are the two main factors for me. But bonus points for the variety of cute designs.There’s not much I would change about these bottles. The only con in my opinion is that they are loud (and can hurt your toes) when dropped. I bought three of these with the straw lid for my kids for Christmas. This water bottle has very cute designs, and my kids were excited to see them. However, I wish I would’ve looked closely at these before presenting them. The lids will be full of mildew in no time. There is no way to separate any of the parts to clean the cracks and crevices, and the silicone is completely housed underneath plastic. The Simple Modern care video shows how to clean the bottle, which is worthless information. The only care tips for the lids is to put it in the dishwasher. But if you’re like me, I do not put plastic in dishwashers or microwaves for health reasons. There is another leak proof lid design but it would not work for my preschooler and toddler. There’s also no indication that that lid will have removable gaskets. That’s my biggest issue. My second issue is that pressure builds up in the straw so it shoots out water sometimes. Also, water doesn’t drain back down the straw so even when closed, some water leaks out. For the price of this bottle, I’m extremely disappointed. Read more

My husband and I have large 40oz bottles. Our two toddlers LOVE to take them and drink from them, which is all fine if you do not mind whatever gunk or food they just had on your straw. We however, do not like sharing our kids lovely backwash, so after going through all the standard sippy cups, I finally decided to get them their own thermos water bottles. Seriously one of the best purchases. Water stays nice and cold even without ice and they are STURDY. My kids drop these bottles and they are fine! Take the straw out, throw the lid and bottle in the dishwasher and you're good. I would recommend these as an alternative to the much price insulated water bottles you can purchase. Read more

These water bottles just arrived and I’m psyched the “straw” part my toddler will drink from is a hard plastic! She chews through all the other ones and loves sticking her finger in the soft plastic straws! She was elated by the designs and I was able to wash them on the top rack in the dishwasher. My daughter is so excited about the designs she carries her water bottle all around with her like an accessory which also means she back to drinking a fair amount of water! Wins all around. I love these water bottles and have purchased several for myself so I decided it was time to get my kids their own so they'll stop getting their kid germs all over mine. I was so excited to see that my daughters bottle came today but upon opening it, I realized it was not the bottle I had ordered. She 2as supposed to get the 14oz dinosaur roar bottle but ended up getting the 10oz solar system one. She's 3 and hardly cared but I had paid for and expected something slightly larger with a vastly different print on it. I've contacted simply modern and am waiting to hear back and will update it once I do. Aside from the mix up, I LOVE these bottles. They keep drinks cold for hours and have really helped my family consume more water on a daily basis. They're relatively spill proof but if you keep the straw open they you're bound to have spillage. They're extremely durable and will keep your water cold for hours. I often leave mine in the car and even with the sun beating down on it for hours, I come back to cool water. It's definitely worth purchasing! I only took a star off because of the mix up.Update:Customer service got back to me and they we so quick and kind! Update:I contacted the customer service email and followed instructions on their website. They told me they’d be happy to replace the defective bottle and confirmed shipping address. I’m still frustrated that I had issues with both bottles but I’ll wait to see what happens with the replacement bottle. Worst case scenario I’ll have two of the same bottle with different tops. I guess we will see. Hopefully these will last longer.On a positive side, the insulation does work really well and the bottles are tough. But I wouldn’t purchase again.Original:Not at all a fan and super frustrated. I bought a planet bottle for my oldest for preschool and it was wonderful and didn’t leak so I bought a construction bottle for my 3 year old. His lid has always leaked, not sure what’s wrong with it. Now I’ve noticed rust forming in the first bottle… we bought in March of this year, that is ridiculous. Sadly the one bottle doesn’t even leak and I loved it until it showed rust.I also don’t like that the inner mold prone parts are neither removeable nor able to show mold as they’re black. Read more

I have 3 kids so you can imagine, we have worked our way through the majority of the water bottles on the market. This one is excellent, it’s priced well and quicks the drink cold and is easy to clean. I’ve spent a lot more on stainless steel bottles in the past and they have dented and the print has come off quickly. This one still looks new even though it goes to nursery with my son. Llego bien, rapido y en una buena caja (se puede regalar sin quedar mal). Tras buscar en diferentes paginas y no dar con otras opciones me decante por este. Me sorprende el monotema en las impresiones para niños, que poca vision educativa...Anteriormente probe con uno de plastico, que por su sistema de cerrado dejaba escapar agua cuando se volcaba, lo bueno es que era transparente y podias ver si quedaba poca agua. Ademas era facil de abrir por las manitas de un niño. El modelo de abecedario que tenia me encantaba, consegui que con menos de dos años aprendiera el abecedario jugando, pero se rompio al caer (aun asi sigo dandole uso educativo). Asi que busque este formato de botella metalico, mas duradero se supone (ya lo veremos) y con dibujos que no fueran meramente decorativos. No pierde agua al volcar si esta bien fuerte cerrado, trae una pajita de repuesto y parece de calidad. Capacidad aproximada 350ml. No desprende olor desagradable. Como todas las botellas de este tipo, son pesonas cuando se rellenan de liquido. Pesa un pelin para niños pequeños y el caño de agua es mayor que el que tenia, el orificio es grandecito, pero al final se maneja bien con él, aunque con el miedo de que se le caiga de las manos y casque la botella. Por ahora la pega es que no tiene aun fuerza para abrir la pajita solito, nada importante que no solucione el tiempo. Y otra cosa, ya podrian hacerlo con una base protectora de goma para suavizar los golpes. Por pedir...En general, muy contenta! Ho acquistato questa borraccia per una bambina che frequenta le elementari.Tanti fondamentali punti di forza che mi fanno dare 5 stelle senza ripensamenti:1) La cannuccia incorporata (nella confezione se ne trova anche una di riserva), fondamentale per bambini ancora non abbastanza grandi e quindi forti / precisi nel gestire lo zaino. La borraccia precedente infatti, fornita dalla scuola, aveva il tappo ad avvitamento. Quanto avvitato male, ha provocato due mezzi allagamenti dello zaino. Quando avvitato con troppa energia, la bambina non è riuscita ad aprirlo, passando ore senza bere. Sgocciolamenti? Dopo un mese, nulla. In ogni caso, si tratterebbe di poche gocce, nulla paragonabile a quello che esce da un tappo aperto.2) Il materiale: eccezion fatta per la cannuccia, il corpo della borraccia è in acciaio, totalmente inodore e insapore.3) La forma: il corpo della borraccia è molto largo, non ha il classico "collo di bottiglia" che rende difficile la pulizia: una volta aperta, si vede molto chiaramente all'interno, e la pulizia è decisamente agevole. Io sono una fanatica della lavastoviglie, ma dopo il primo lavaggio non ho più avuto necessità di usarla: un goccio di detergente per i piatti e acqua sono più che sufficienti per lavarla adeguatamente.4) La dimensione: adatta per lo zaino traboccante di una bambina delle elementari, contiene l'acqua necessaria e sufficiente per mezza giornata, pranzo incluso.In conclusione, dopo un mese di utilizzo quasi quotidiano, più che soddisfatta.
