Wow amazing! this product is much beyond my expecting!It looks very high quality and real pure silver.My wife used similar products (don’t remember that was sterling silver or silver-plated ) few years ago, they worked ok for my first child. This time we where looking for a better one for my second baby. As the description 999 silver cups really do a better job of healing than others. This is my second silver nipple cup with the first one being from another brand and slightly less silver content and it's finish more of a matte stainless steel shine. This one is polished shiny silver and has more silver content. My nipples are cracked and sore from breastfeeding on the daily, 8-10 times a day, can we say "ouchie"? That said, I have to put nipple cream on after every feeding and it often rubs off on my breast pads which I have to use because I sometimes leak milk throughout the day. These cups allows my cream to stay in contact with my nipple. I'm going to be straightforward and say I can't tell any difference in healing my nipples with using these cups. It's no miracle product and it's quite expensive. My nipples are healing but I can not attribute it 100% to these cups due to my consistent use of nipple cream. Still, I would recommend! Read more

These nipple shields made from silver are great! They protect the nipples very well and also hold some milk that might come out during the let down reflex of nursing a baby. I noticed they don’t hold all the milk though, some of the milk does drizzle out so it’s important to wear a absorbent breast pad over it. I personally have to take the cups off and dump the milk out and then put them back on otherwise they get too full of milk and I even leak in them between feeds. As long as you stay on top of how full they get then these are very helpful. They keep the nipple protected from rubbing or chopping on the bra or breast pad while the nipples are healing and becoming stronger. I think this would be an amazing gift for any mom that is breast-feeding during her first month. I wish I had this the first day I had the baby at the hospital because my nipples were sore the next day. They would’ve been nice to have. Read more

Silver is well-known for its healing properties, so these nipple covers totally make sense! I was very skeptical, though, and didn't have high expectations. Upon trying them, I love them! They are just large enough to cover my nipples; the cups are shiny and cool to the touch initially, but once you put them on they quickly warm up to match your body temperature and I hardly notice them. They are soothing and help heal sore nipples in between feedings with or without the lanolin cream. They are super easy to clean and they are infinitely reusable.Well worth the price in my opinion! Mrs. Jon has nursed three kids and is still nursing the latest. In the beginning she would be sore for the first 2 weeks at least and would feel raw. Two we discovered needed their tongue ties removed and we went to a lactation consultant to diagnose this as many pediatricians are not experienced in the matter. Even with these corrects there are times that are just uncomfortable. With the last one they also got a bout of thrush. Currently she isn't having any issues nursing so can't test this out to it's fullest as there's no discomfort to cure. However she did note that when the baby isn't nursing her nipples are rather flat and that these cups wouldn't come in contact with the area that needs it the most because of their shape. There are also women that are somewhat inverted, so she thinks these should be much more flat for them to work for more women. They seem to be as described though and if you can afford to get these before you start your breastfeeding journey I'd absolutely say to do so as in the beginning it can be so uncomfortable that you want to give up and having anything on hand that could help would be advantageous.
