I was on a different website shopping for something else, and someone had listed a makeup brush kit. I decided that a kit with a super fancy brand on the side wasn't necessary, so I started a new search.I wanted something small, portable, and easy to store; this little grooved item gets so much makeup out of my brushes! I use to wash my brushes almost everyday, but then I stopped wearing makeup because my brushes were dirty. WELL. This little bear-eared shaped accessory has different shaped grooves for various size brushes. My brushes are back to their original color! I really like the underside which has open grooves to hold your brushes upright as they dry or general storage. I got mine in blue to match our bathroom decor. I’ve been looking for a makeup brush cleaner for a while. I found some too expensive and the reviews weren’t that great. I have a wide variety of makeup brushes. I was a bit skeptical in trying this silicone mat. I’m so glad I ordered this! The design is cute and hits in my hand for holding. The back side serves as a makeup brush holder as my brushes dry. This is my first brush cleaner I have purchased and I love it. It was easy to use and the color was what I expected. All the brushes I cleaned fit except one and the durability of the product is nice & thick. I would purchase this again. The only issue I had was cleaning my brush cleaner after cleaning the brushes. The only reason I gave this product a 4 instead of a 5 is that the openings for the brushes to stand up are a little too wide and I wish it was a bit tighter so the brushes are sturdier upright. Also, I wish that there were suction cups on it so it can be connected to a surface or in the sink without having to hold it. Other than that, the idea is great and it's super cute. The quality is very good and I love that it is double-sided (one side for the cleaning one side to hold the brushes to dry). I also like that it came with a shadow color change brush sponge. I'm really happy with this purchase. It makes it so much easier to clean my brushes and makeup sponges. Being able to scrub them gets them noticeably cleaner. I do have some brushes that weren't staying up, and then I realized that I could use the ears hold the brushes up and it worked. Also, I keep a clean makeup cloth nearby. After I wash the brush using the scrub side of the cleaning mat, I'll then use the makeup cloth to remove some of the excess water before I turn the mat over and stand the brush up to finish air drying. I tried the product the same day it arrived. I cleaned Sigma brushes (duo-fiber and synthetics) and the real techniques "facial expert brush". So here are my first impressions:- Material: silicon material is not the softer one in the market, but it definitely helps out with a fast and effective cleaning.- No bristles loss: No bristles came off (and I was harsh with the RT brush).- Effectiveness: the mat did a pretty good job. Except for the RT brush, I cleaned all the brushes very quickly. I had issues with the RT brush, but I think the brush and the bristles' material are the problem.- Size: this was a surprise for me. I thought the mat would be smaller than it is. However, I must say that it has the perfect size for a hand. It is comfortable to hold, and it does not slip away.- Holder brush: I guess the material could be more flexible to fit different sizes of brushes. As you see in the picture, the RT brush did not fit.I am giving this product 5 stars, although the issue with the holder. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and the quality. Read more

I really like the idea of this makeup cleaner. One side has different textures you can clean your brushes on & it works great to clean them. The other side is supposed to be where you can put your brushes upside down dry but my smaller diameter eye brushes don’t fit in the base. The spaces are too big and your brushes want to fall out. I was able to get the brushes to stay but it is precarious at best but you can’t beat the price so overall I am happy w/my purchase. Recommend Read more
