I purchased this brush to replace a Shiseido facial brush I purchased 20 years ago that I loved. I dropped it one to many times and it finally broke apart. I found the new one has softer bristles that I didn't think I would like, but it also has 5 flexible rubber 'legs' within the bristles that add stability and provides a very light massage. It is my new favorite! It is very easy to clean by just rinsing under water after use. Before this brush, I had purchased another soft bristle brush but the bristles were so packed together it was harder to rinse clean after use. Somehow this addition seemed not to clean as well for me.I didn't realize I had another brush (without thee massaging balls) purchased from Shiseido years ago. I like the brush ok but the bristles are very soft. I was looking for a facial brush that exfoliated a bit and this is not it. But it does clean your face and can be used on a daily basis. Sort of like a gentle washcloth. I like this product enough to buy it again in the future, should I just need a general cleansing brush. If you need a more powerful clean, then look elsewhere. I used this with the Shiseido Pureness Deep Cleasing Foam and it lathered up instantly, a match made in heaven!
