I was very disappointed when I got this product from Amazon. This was my second time using it, the first time I bought it from Walmart and I LOVED it my skin felt amazing! However, the two I bought of here made my skin tingly and caused blemishes as if I was having an allergic reaction to it. Something was definitely off, like the texture was really silky as if it had been sitting it the warehouse for a long time. I could barely rub it into my skin without it seeping out of my hands. Also, the sent is normally very powerful but not this time it was very mild and I could barely smell it nor did I feel the moisture from the vitamin E once I got out the shower. Overall I am not pleased with this purchase at all and really feel like it was a waste of money especially considering I bought two. For now on, I will continue going to my local Walmart for this body scrub, as I will never order again off Amazon. Read more

Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hand & Body Scrub is AMAZING!It's been at least 15 years since I've found a real salt scrub with moisturizer in it - and I've spent serious money on other products that said they did the same but fell way short.I tend to break out in rashes due to stress and when using this, it didn't irritate my skin while I let it soak in after scrubbing it all over my body, even my face, neck and ears. After gently drying off, my skin wasn't too slippery or slick, it had soaked the moisturizer to just the right level.Since I have delicate skin especially coming out of winter this is perfect and know it will be the same in summer after working outside.If you have any type of skin issues I highly recommend Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Hand & Body Scrub. This is a great scrub that exfoliates AND moisturizes. I use this to exfoliates before shaving. It leaves my skin feeling very smooth. I especially like it during the winter as it helps combat dry skin.I limit use of this to my legs, feet, arms, hands, and belly. I have sensitive skin, but this scrub doesn't irritate me at all. Note - I don't use it on my chest, back, or face. I don't use it daily and a single container lasts me about 2 to 3months.Now, the downside - the scent. I've been using this scrub for a long while and I've bought it many times. The scent used to be pleasant. The scent is now far more overpowering. This product is quite abrasive but lubricating for the skin, "greasy" in fact. I like it. I prefer the Trader Joe's lavender scrub but refuse to jump through the hoops to get into that store. I had this product dry out when I bought it previously, but in the shower, it got moist again. Given the circumstances in which we are now living, it is preferable to going inside a drugstore. I love this product overall. One of my containers (I bought a 2 pack) did not have the seal on it. Well, it did, but it was stuck inside the cap rather than being on the jar as it should have been. There was not sign of prior use, but that jar was a bit drier upon opening than the other making the texture a bit different. Packing sucked, mine leaked in the box out ofThe containers. Both containers were almost totally dry & the box was soaking up the liquid. I would not order a scrub online again since there isn’t a seal or the seal was broken on mine on the tubs each themselves, it was more like one of those foam things under the lid that sits there. I was looking for an all natural (NO PLASTIC) scrub to tackle ashy feet and exfoliate before shaving. This delivers, although I'm not crazy about the scent as it's a bit strong to me. You get what u pay for.. Stinks like a cheap lotion or body spray from the dollar store. Didnt leave my skin moisture at all. It did in the shower but it didn't last long at all. My main issue is the smell. Didnt smell anything like coconut or hibiscus. Im stuck with 2 jars of this stuff now. I hate to throw it away. Not worth sending it back either.
