This was just what I was looking for, for my 1.5 year old. The storage box is a bonus, we put rice and beans in it for her to sort. I looked into many styles like this and all other reviews mentioned how small some of the pieces were, and I assume this set is the same small size as those are, but I am very happy with size of the peices. Love this montessori set and the variety of tools! Great sturdiness and thickness through each bowl and scooper. I look forward to integrating more natural products into my home and this is a great way to start with my kiddo. I do wish the bowls were bigger in size or a variety of sizes, but overall they seem to be a quality product. Read more

They look and feel well made except for a few spots that are not smoothed down. I was surprised and disappointed by how small everything is. I’m sure my 15mo won’t mind though. I bought a wooden mortar and pestle to go with the set and now it looks silly with the other small pieces. Oh well. Not sure I’d recommend/buy again; I would have spent more on larger pieces.
