These are GREAT for those of us who have very thin hair. Mini non-slip ponytail holders are almost impossible to find! Even the typical ponytail holders for children were to big for my hair! These are perfect! I can loop them twice about my thin ponytail and they do not slip down! They are reasonably priced, considering they came from England! I got this pkg of 12 ponytail holders for $4.00+ and it took 4 weeks to arrive from China. I also ordered Scunci brand 20 ponytail holders for $3.00 and it arrived the next day. I love these things, and am totally willing to live with the fact that I have to have them shipped over 5,000 miles from England. They fit perfectly on a few of my fingers when not in use. So, I always have one on hand when I need one. There is either one in my hair or on my finger at all times. (Seriously.) They last way longer than the little skinny silicone ones (the flat, clear, cheap ones that come with way more to a pack). These hold hair tightly; but, as suspected, when it was time to remove it from my hair, it took a handful of hair with it. I tried coating my hair and the ponytail holder with conditioner in hopes that it would slip out without breakage; but it didn't work. These are AMAZING! I use the larger scunci “gel” ties for my hair but that required a lot of wrapping for pony trails/pigtails on my 3 girls with thin hair. These work exactly the same but need way less wraps! And when I took them out, there was no tangling at all! Only had them for a few days so I’m not sure how long each band will last, but they seem sturdy and I’m impressed so far! Read more

These are closer to 2/3 inch OUTSIDE diameter. I was looking for something closer to 4/5 inch middle diameter., so I was disappointed. They do appear to be silicone and are somewhat strong and stretchy, so if you are using them for hair you might not be disappointed, unless you have large fingers and have trouble with small things already. Very happy with these. I have been using ponytail sizes silicone ties for a while and I wanted an alternative to the single use tiny plastic ties to secure the end of my braids.These are about 1cm wide before wrapping, because they are a little thicker, they are slightly more noticeable than the clear elastics I used to use. They haven't slipped out and seem very durable.Tip. Silicone ties do grip differently tot he fabric wrapped elastic kind and can easily pull hairs out when removing, so unwrapping the tie is better than pulling them out.Exactly what I wanted. I know they're called non slip but I wasn't expecting them to be so snaggy. I bought them for my son's hair and they were useless, really sore getting them out. Nice size. I also bought as they are clear, bit pointless as they are white when stretched which is pretty essential. Read more
