I ordered these sleep bonnets for my daughter. She has long, curly, waistlength hair that falls well below the length of this cap. She has regular length sleep bonnets that she can leave her hair loose in overnight and they help prevent tangles. We thought this longer bonnet would work even better. In fact, the opposite is true. She said her hair settles at the bottom and twists around inside while she's sleeping, so it creates tangles. She says that if her hair were shorter, she could see this working better, but it doesn't work if your hair is long enough to gather at the bottom of this when you're wearing it. Read more
I've recently started getting protective hairstyles with crochet twists. Because of the length of some of the twists, regular bonnets feel really tight on my hair. However, this bonnet is perfect for long hairstyles. It takes some maneuvering to put my twists down inside the bonnet, but my style is lasting longer with this bonnet instead of having my hair bunched up.
