Secure is the best thing to ever come along in the denture adhesive market! I found myself needing dentures at the relatively young age of only 52. To say I was mortified would be the understatement of the century. So I recently got upper dentures and when I say recently I mean about a week ago as of this writing. Because of that I haven't been able to use any adhesive on my gums, however without adhesive there's no way I would leave the house. I just wouldn't feel confident enough. I purchased Secure after I did a search and found out that it was the number one brand of adhesive on multiple sites. Also the reviews, for the most part, were pretty good and since I have no idea what I'm doing that's what I had to go on. So I've only been able to use adhesive on the roof of my mouth and let me tell you this stuff really holds. What I have in now is an immediate denture so I'm sure everyone knows they don't fit the best. When I put the adhesive on the roof of my mouth it just suctions the Denture up and that baby is not moving. I can drink anything without it losing grip and I could probably eat almost anything (sadley I'm still on soft foods), but I can eat the heck outta some pudding!I work 12 and a half hour shifts so I wake up at 3:30 a m and put the Secure on and the Denture in and I have absolutely had not one issue throughout the day. By the time I get home around 6 p.m. I have to actually struggle to get the Denture out of my mouth. This will be the adhesive I use until they stop making it. I also like the fact there is no zinc and that it has aloe, which trust me right now my poor mouth needs.I just wanted to share my experience with this because the other reviewers have helped me so much. Absolutely the best there is! I have a real love/hate relationship with my dentures--love how they look, hate that they're never secure. Until now that is. I've had them six months and only since using secure have they been, well secure!I've tried so many adhesives but still could not eat without my top plate moving or coming lose completely. No problem with Secure. In fact, I'm chomping peanut butter pretzels as I write this! With other adhesives I couldn't even eat a sandwich! Believe it or not for all its holding power it's also easier to get residue out of your mouth when you remove your dentures. I'm stocking up and praying they never stop making it. Read more

Holds strong. But I have trouble spreading it into a smooth , thin layer. Heating tube with a small hair dryer helps some.Am going to try the Non-Sensitive type, to see how it spreads..The thick product does make a good gap filler for poorly fitting dentures, however.Also, because of multiple surgeries in the past year, I am forced to use "Prosoft Liner" for several more months. This makes it somewhat difficult to remove any adhesive, from the denture.Noted from the company site, that the product contains an ingredient that absorbs saliva, to allow the product to hold strong.When this ingredient gets saturated with saliva, than the holding power is lost. Seems that much of the holding power ... will then depend on whether or not you produce excessive saliva.I use paper towels to pat my gums dry, before inserting the denture .. seems to help Read more

Horrible. I use it on a partial while I wait for mt mouth to heal enough to proceed to the next step in the implant phase. I started out using Fixodent with Scope. Loved it except that Scope gave my mouth sores so I looked on Amazon and found this. I so wanted to love this. It would not last all day. It would end up being a big gross glob of goo in my mouth when I removed the partial at the end of the day (if I could even wait until then). And eating... forget about it! It did not hold it securely...at....all. I did like the no taste part.I was heartbroken. Then one day in my grocery store I found Fixodent Free! It. Works. WONDERFUL!!! No taste, holds wonderfully, I can eat with no problem and when I take it out at the end of the day? No issues...at...all.I am happy for everyone that this works for but if this does not please do not give up please give Fixodent Free a try. Read more

Bought for my mum who was pretty distressed by her dentures.Following her dental implants failing, she had to have dentures, which moved, hurt her and made eating and drinking difficult and uncomfortable.She had tried everything that the dentist advised, polygrip, seabond, all still allowed movement, one of them wouldn't come off her palate, leaving blisters.She was low in mood because of this.I bought this and she is delighted.I ordered it on Saturday, it was delivered on Sunday and when I saw her on Monday she had left her chomped apple core as evidence of success!! I worried they might not come out, but they did. What can I say, WOW WOW WOW!!! I got my dentures yesterday they are NHS dentures full set. I have very problematic gums this is due to having a majority of my teeth taken out 7 years ago, mainly my front top and bottom. I had my remaining 5 teeth taken out last year. The problem is my gums have shrunk at the front. Yesterday I was sooo excited at getting my smile back, being able to bite into food, chew food start having celery, bombay mix etc. The dentist fitted them with polygrip I bit into a crisp out my dentures came. Later I tried fixodent out straight away, seascape one bite top and bottom out. I was REALLY nervous I tried this tonight and WOW, I managed to eat celery, cucumber, tomatoes, peppers it was amazing. I had them in for a couple of hours and I admit they were stuck in, but after a wiggle they came out. A bit of residue was left but brushing with a toothbrush and a swill of mouthwash sorts this out. My only con was I had the same taste in my mouth as the smell of acrylic nail liquid, but that is because it is the same base. But hey-ho, I would rather be able to eat and smile and talk WITHOUT my new teeth flying out. Read more

Great grab/adhesion but what’s with the burning sensation? Not nice that, but all in all it’s better than polygrip or fixodent, put my choppers in at 5am and it’s now 5pm and not a wiggle all day, tried to take them out and it’s like a vacuum, going to see how long they will stay in, a little pricey for the size of the tube but apart from the burning then I can’t really fault it. 1 star because it doesn’t taste very nice 3 stars because it’s a bit pricey and full stars because it’s great at doing what it’s meant to do. What a horrible tasting product, it smells and tastes like Uhu glue and makes my mouth itch. It does not last for 12 hours more like 2 hours. It’s also a nightmare to wash off your dentures, had to use a kitchen sponge with scourer attached to get rid of sticky residue, it is like glue, pity it doesn’t glue dentures to gums sufficiently. Tried this as fixident is horrible. Initially I thought it was going to be okay I was very optimistic it went into my mouth easy enough there was none of the accident smudging out from underneath denture and it seemed to Loctite however I’ve only wore them shipped to ours and it was coming off so well unfortunate I was just out shopping with my daughter I’ve been at work or something it would be most embarrassing I may try it again to see if it’s just the amount I put on or something else I could change but my first initial opinion is itIs not going to cut it Read more
