I bought Sebamed last year, on a whim, to try it out for my husband who has suffered with adult onset psoriasis for over 35 years. This is currently my preferred facial and body wash. i cannot afford to use it as a body wash, so i just use it for my face. It does not leave my skin tight and dry like soap, and that's why i use it. Also, i think the pH issue sounds rational.Note: Some people do not like the fragrance. It is somewhat strong, though it does not bother me personally. If you know anyone that uses it, check out the smell first, if you're really sensitive to fragrances. It also has a blue-green coloring to it, so there's that issue to consider if you have such sensitive skin as to have trouble with coloring. Read more

I love the 2-in-1 packs! I’ve been a loyal SebaMed Face & Body Wash user since 2014, and the only reason behind that is that it keeps my acne under-control without drying out my skin (even though I have oily skin). Some people have great experiences with products from Neutrogena, Clean&Clear, etc., but they did not work for me, and they dried my skin up real bad, causing more breakouts. I used to use this just as a face wash, but now I used it as a body wash as well with a wash cloth, and it has been working well for my skin. This is the only soap I can use over my whole body. Dove or Ivory makes me itch or even burn in certain areas. I don’t know what I would have done if they hadn’t made this kind of soap. Many of my girlfriends feel the same way! Who knew! Read more

I initially purchased this product from Costco and was so excited to see it on Amazon. I had always had issues with dry skin during the winter months but after using this product, my skin has stayed well moisturized. The scent reminds me of a child’s shampoo, but it’s not over powering. I would definitely recommend this body wash. Read more

I do not understand how a product can be described as gentle when it contains SLS, a harsh chemical added to give lather and which is entirely unnecessary. This product may be soap free but a detergent is worse. I also do not understand why this chemical, which is very drying, does not appear to aggravate reviewer’s skin who say they have eczema. Unfortunately l believed the product advertising and reviews without checking more thoroughly, the ingredients list is in an image concealed unless you click on it. After washing my hands just twice it has irritated my skin and l certainly wouldn’t use it on my face or body. I feel like l have been mislead. Be aware, this supplier refuses returns. Read more
