I normal buy directly from salon supply stores but decided with the more positivte reviews at he time to give this a try. It wasn't bad and I did notice the wording in another language which should have been a tip off. My hair came out the med brown reddish color I expected so not issue there but it faded SUPER FAST like within a week or two it got super dull. A long time ago, I was a professional colorist. At the time I used an Italian line "Framesi" (professional). Schwarzkopf is its' German top-notch professional counterpart". I used this 4-99 Medium Brown Violet 1/4 mixed with 4-00 Neutral Light Brown 3/4. It came out a very pretty light-to slightly light-medium brown on my quite dark brown hair. I now have 50% grey hair. The bit of 1/4 of the Violet did not create a "Violet-cast" on my grey hair. It just created a prettier light brown. I'm elated to be able to buy this product so conveniently. Read more

Exceptional permanent hair color with excellent grey coverage, if you have very stubborn, over 50% grey you may want to consider using one of their "extra" shades, same names and shades as the standard color but with an extra digit, always "0" and the word "extra" added to the name(ie: Dark Blond Extra 6:00 will give you a superior grey coverage to Dark Blonde 6-0.)They suggest using IGORA brand developer but I've never seen a difference using other brands but I have yet to try IGORAs new oil developer, What I believe is much more pertinent is using the correct volume and many people use dont, the following is the general rule:-10 volume AKA 3% developer when colouring darker.-20 volume AKA 6% developer for tone-on-tone, 1 tone lighter or coverage.-30 volume AKA 9% developer for colouring 1-2 tones lighter.-40 volume AKA 12% developer for colouring 2-3 tones lighter.Use 1 part developer to 1 part color and to minimize potential damage you can add a bit of Argon oil to the mix, it won't hinder the color process if you don't use to much (i use maybe 1/8 - 1/4 tsp depending how much color I'm mixing for myself (ive never used any other types of oil so I don't know if that is true of other oils). This color needs to be applied to dry hair and works best is hair has been 1-2 days unwashed but relatively product free of product (no gel, no dry shampoo) if you have oily hair mybe only half -1 day. Should remain on hair for 30-45 minutes, the latter if grey coverage but can be reduced by about half if covering and using heat (don't cover to tightly) but applying heat tends to cause premature fading of color.The only cons I can think of is-it’s delivered in a ridiculously large box- here is no color name on the tube itself just the shade number, the name is only on the box (less they've recently changed that) which is inconvenient if you don't keep the color in its original box and aren't familiar with the corresponding color name. I bought this product to cover terrible high lights I got. first let me say that my hair previous to this colour looked and felt extremely fried.i did a strand test first to make sure i was ok with the result color.this is an excellent product.i used 6% igora developer.this is gentle and great coverage. my hair feels better. color is even and has gloss to it.i left it 30 min and covered everything.its been 1 month since ive colored it and im so happy with the results.I have 3c curls and air dry most of the time. I dyed my hair many times in my life, and the agora is always my favorite. It sticks well to the hair, smell good, and give vibrance to the hairs. If you want grey coverage and beautiful shine, this product is for you. Yes, the boxed dyes are considered more convenient but they do not compare to schwarzkopf. All you need is a application brush, bowl , gloves and peroxide. I'd recommend 20 v for Grey coverage and 10 v for colour deposit only. Don't use hair drying boxed dyes.
