I love this color, but there just wasn’t enough in one box to cover my whole head. It barely covered half my head. I thankfully started at the top of my head instead of the bottom like I normally do. If you have very short hair, one box will do, but if you have anything longer than a chin length, you’ll need two, maybe even three boxes. I love the color though. I wanted a lighter lavender color so I only processed it for 15 minutes instead of the full 30. I bleached my hair beforehand, and I’m slightly disappointed that the yellow didn’t get covered since purple is supposed to cancel out yellow. Unfortunately this didn't work for me but giving 4 stars because the color is truly beautiful and it's probably my fault it didn't take. I have dark brown non-virgin hair and did not bleach or lighten. So I had this really pretty dark purple hair for like a day and after that my dark hair just swallowed up any color and it was gone.If you have dark hair it will not be worth it unless you lighten or bleach. I usually use a Nature tint or hairdresser. I tried Color Ultime #6.86 Sparkly Light Brown. Photos show BEFORE. Approx 1 inch Grey/brown roots and light brown. And AFTER, a flat reddish brown. Now that I look at box, I see there are tones of red in predicted Color Result but real overall look is auburn. Hair feels ok and doesn’t seem brittle or fragile but it looks like a home dye job.I shook bottle for over a minute. Dye solution was very runny and difficult to control application. I left on for 23 minutes and didn’t use their conditioner because I could see color, even when wet, was one I want to wash out.I addition to peel-off gloves, you get two little hockey stick shaped plastic tubes. I've used the Schwarzkopf brand hair color before and am very pleased with this product. It's easy to use and gives long-lasting color! I highly recommend it to anyone thinking of coloring their hair.My problem with this order was the packaging. As you can see in the photos, the box used was considerably larger than the small box of hair color. Granted I can recycle the box but the air packs needed to cushion this small product box in the large shipping box went on and on and on! So much waste should be a thing of the past! Read more

Overall great hair product, doesn’t dry your hair, good coverage even on gray but this will show little if your hair is dark which is expected and since I used it on my salt and pepper the only complain is fading but tbh my hair is so long and curly I just don't color more than every other month.Somehow I got a deal (here in Amazon) got a dozen or so for $10 bucks! So I had some issues. I bought 2 bottles. The first bottle was great and the second bottle didn't work at all as you can see from the bottom portion of my hair. The one pic is my starting color..I ordered a third bottle, however, and it all looks fantastic. I've washed many times now and it still looks great. What I didn't do is follow the directions where it says to shampoo right after dying while rinsing. I only rinsed and used their conditioner. I wash about every 4 days. The color is staying great and is like a red with hints of purple pink and strawberry blonde.4 stars only because one bottle was a total dud and waste of money. Read more
