These were great water squirters for the bathtub but it is very difficult to get all the water out, inviting mold growth. There is a lip on the inside with the screw thread that traps water in even when you squeeze the toy as much as possible. Caps easily screw on and off but are sturdy and don’t slip open unwantedly. When I opened these up and detached the lid it was coated in a weird oil like substance. I returned for a replacement and the replacement had it as well.... I really don’t know what to think about this. I don’t feel very comfortable letting my kid play with it when I have no clue what it is. I run a swim school and it is extremely hard to find cute, soft water toys to use in the pool. After a ton, (and I mean a TON) of research and comparison shopping, I settled on purchasing these. I first bought a handful sets back in 2015 and just recently reordered more. While they are more expensive than the toys we used to purchase in years past, they are much more durable. This is especially apparent after purchasing a more pool specific toy brand this past summer and having to get rid of over half of those after only about 6 months of use (they became pancakes).I do have quite a bit of the original 2015 toys left. Sadly, many of the fish have been discarded as the sponge inside eventually wore down but most of the fish lasted 2+ years. We have not had issues with mold, even with daily use and hours in the pool at a time. It also doesn't hurt that all the kiddos love them. :)With all that being said, I feel that if you purchase them for home use or if you teach your own swim lessons, you won't be disappointed. Baby loves these water toys. He's just learning how to squeeze and they're so fun. And we love them as parents because they unscrew for drying and cleaning - no mold growth to worry about! The screw top design means that some water pools up inside and it's kind of hard to get it completely clear it because it gets caught by the lip, but some rapid shaking in all directions does the trick. These are SO cute!! My boys LOVE water toys especially ones the squirt water, however I can’t stand them because they get moldy inside now lather what I do. These are the best! Easy to fill up and even easier to clean!! You just unscrew the top and empty them out!!! I would highly recommend these!! No worries about mold. They create this gross black film in the bath. There’s a lip inside that collects water and makes this gross grime. We even tried running them through the dishwasher and hand washing and the black stuff won’t go away. We have to throw them out and we can’t return them now. BUY SOMETHING ELSE! Read more

I got these for a gift for a one year old, and they have worked out really well! They are easy for him to manage because of the textured handles. The 'squeezies' are flexible and much easier for a toddler hand to manage than the perfectly round, thicker ones. Perfect for the pool or the tub! I highly recommend! Read more

So I love the idea of these. You can open to clean and dry out. But around the top of where you screw the lid on there is a section where water can get to and it’s so hard getting the water out. These are a bit expensive compared to others on the market but our baby had liked them when we'd been at a friends so we got them. Firstly the bag they come in is useless - it has suction pads but they're so hard there's no chance of getting them to stick. Secondly the quality of the toys is poor, for instance they're meant to snap together but they are so inconsistently sized even an adult struggles to do this. Our 1 year old has been enjoying these bath toys for the past month. They are brilliant as they're not too soft and not too hard and he does enjoy chewing on them (as he does with most things!) and splashing about with them. He did get a little scared when I squirted him with one of them to show him what they do, so perhaps he isn't quite ready for that yet! They're very handy with their own little net to tidy them away as well. They're also educational as they're all different sea creature of different colours, so we say "ooh look! It's Mr Orange Crab", or something to that effect, to try to help him to become familiar with colours. Read more

My 2 year old niece loved these! She was throwing them around the room as soon as she got them. Our favourite is the octopus (which we liked placing on her head - so funny). Very cute! Not sure how they hold up in the bath as we havent tried this, but they make great toys in general. Read more

These toys are great! My son loves the different sea creatures and they squirt water really well which he loves! The big holes means he can fill them and squeeze them himself (hes 20 months old).
