I bought this after a recommendation. I have been looking for an alternative sulphate-free shampoo to the one I used as I didn't feel it does a good enough job. My old shampoo I was using left my hair feeling greasy but after taking a chance on this one this is fantastic. It leaves my hair feeling properly washed, clean and it smells lovely! My hair is now in great condition and it's doing a great job of maintaining the keratin treatment I had. I will keep using this. Read more
So far I am really impressed with this shampoo. It is difficult to find a sodium chloride-free and sulfate-free shampoo. I found this online and decided to try it. First I just used my regular conditioner with this shampoo, but I wasn't thrilled with the results. So, I contacted the company and asked if it would make a difference if I used their conditioner. They explained that why the shampoo works best with their conditioner. Anyhow, I gave in and purchased NYK1 conditioner. Amazing Product. Where do I start. I had been searching for a Sulphate free Shampoo & Conditioner and after reading the reviews on this NYK1 product, I decided to try the shampoo first.I wasn’t disappointed.Previously I had purchased cheaper products that promised to do what I wanted but they never gave me the softness, condition or shine I was looking for.Having had a Brazilian Keratin treatment this product is doing a fantastic job of maintaining the silkiness and leaving my hair full of life but most importantly without stripping it!!! I will continue to use this product andI would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to actually clean your hair properly, periodically, after a hair treatment. I bought this for my keratin treated hair and it really has extended its life. I took 1-star off because it takes a lot of shampoo to get a lather going. Sometimes it takes a 2nd shampoo to get your hair completely clean. Once rinsed, your hair will be very thirsty for conditioner. But, it has kept my keratin treatment intact, so there’s that. I was really surprised as to how well this cleaned my hair. After my Keratin smoothing treatment my hair tended to go limp very quickly. I really had to scale down product use. All the other sulfate free shampoos didn't clean my normal/oily scalp well enough. This shampoo, in addition to being sulfate and salt free, lathers beautifully and cleanses thoroughly. I really like the conditioner as well. I love the overall benefits from the smoothing treatment, so this product (and the conditioner) will be my go-to for sure! Read more
I really like this shampoo!! It’s light enough where I don’t feel like I’m stripping my hair, but effective enough to clear away a coconut oil hair mask. It has a subtle scent. I think coconut or vanilla. Can’t really recall, but it’s pleasant. Read more
Whatever they use in place of sulfate and salts strips your hair. This stripped my keratin treatment faster than ever before and left my hair feeling dry. Use Wen. Whatever it is that makes the foam in bubbles in this shampoo and others is what strips your hair. Do not recommended at all. Read more

I’ve tried several sulphate free shampoos as I have Brazilian blow dry treatments and this is the worst shampoo I’ve ever used in my life which surprises me as it has great reviews. It is supposed to be coconut fragrance but it smells just awful and just tangled my hair up in knots during use, when it washes out it feels as though it is stripping my hair and even using the matching conditioner leaves my hair full of tangles and impossible to brush. When dried it feels heavy with residue and looks dull. I persevered for 3 washes then binned it along with the conditioner! Read more
I bought this to use after an organic brazilian blow out. I wasn't sure how long I would use it initially, as my hair became lank and greasy within only one day of washing, but I persevered with it as I didn't want to ruin the keratin treatment and it wasn't an inexpensive shampoo which I felt I could just dump in the bin.The effects of the brazilian blowout are now long gone and I am still using this shampoo :-) My hair has adjusted really well to it. I don't feel I need another keratin treatment. My hair is soft, clean and silky, almost all frizz free, totally manageable and I only need to wash every few days. Prior to this, when using a normal shampoo (with salt and sulphate) my hair was a dry, frizzy mess which I couldn't bear to wear down. My hair loves this product. Having never used sulphate free products before, I was unused to the non-foaming and the one I was using left my hair feeling greasy and lank. Usually paravento-free shampoo leaves the idea that something is not quite right. Even if they wash and they do good to hair intrinsically, the outcome is not the same as the one with the harsh silicon in it.Instead. INSTEAD, this shampoo is changing the game.
