I've never had a strong preference when it came to glossy topcoats (or tacos, as nail queen simplynailogical says). As long as it dries fast and isn't streaky or gloopy, I'm happy. This almost became a favorite because of how smoothly it applied and how quickly it dried. HOWEVER, as with all base and topcoats I've gotten to the end of, the very last little bit in the bottle was so hard to get out. Tipping the bottle to the side did not help whatsoever, possibly because of the shape of the bottle. I ended up having to pour the last little bit onto a paint tray in order to use it. Also, the second half of the bottle, I had to add polish thinner every so often in order to keep it from getting gloopy and gross.It is an amazingly good topcoat... for the first half of the bottle, which is why I've given it 4 stars. It doesn't cause any weird shrinkage issue like Seche Vite does, it's affordable, it doesn't have a strong smell. Read more

I just finished reviewing a colored polish the other day that I love except for the chipping. This topcoat is amazing and I can't believe it took me so long to finally try it. It's only been about 8 hours, but I know that the colored polish I am wearing would be half chipped off by now without the topcoat. The colored polish chips even if I baby it but I have done a couple of loads of dishes and hand washed a few kitchen towels. My polish looks like I just applied it and I didn't even do that great of a job in the first place. I can't wait to re-do my nails more carefully and use the topcoat.One thing to note: this is definitely a clear polish. The bottle glass has a deep pink tint so I windered if the polish was tinted. I was a little sceptical when I first got this, but after trying it for the first time, it works as it says! Super quick drying, within seconds I was able to touch it without leaving prints. I was still very careful not to bang my nails against anything for at least 10 minutes after but it's held up great so far. Read more

Second bottle I've gotten and my go-to top coat.A few tips: Make sure to use it while your polish is still kind of wet. I'm not familiar with other quick-dry top coats, but you need a decent amount of product to get smooth coverage. End result is glossy, and able to be touched, though the top coat won't dry out layers below the first one if you haven't already let them dry.While nails are dry to the touch almost immediately, I still prefer to give them five minutes or so to completely dry before doing anything that might mess with the polish underneath, especially if I haven't given a lot of time between coats.Works best with only a few layers of polish; as a top coat, this stuff has kept my longest-lasting colors on safe and sound, but doesn't work well if you're impatient and need to build up color. I'd recommend always having a few layers between it and bare nail. Read more

Mostly pleased with this top coat. Nice brush that allows smooth, even application. The only thing I don't like is that with some polishes, not all, but some, the brush picks up the color already on the mail if it's not completely dry. It is great at making your nail color last more than a week and does well at preventing chipping or peeling of color applied. This polish dries quickly and gives a great shine.However, make sure when you're using this, that all previous coats are completely dry so they don't bleed onto the brush when applying this as top coat. This product does not work. It literally only lasts one day and then the polish starts chipping. I tried it with two different brands of nail polish and both times it began to chip the next day. I'm not sure how they can call this an "anti-chip" top coat. I'm very disappointed. Read more

This stuff works great....way better than the oils or sprays. You paint your nails, wait a minute or two, and paint this on over your color. It makes your nails smudge-proof and dry almost instantly. Just be sure you don't put too thick of a color coat on first, or the color will never dry under this topcoat. My only complaint is that the bottle seems to get dry and sticky about half way through, making it almost unusable. Read more

This is one of the best quick drying topcoats... I can paint my nails, wait about 2mins and then add this on top and then I am ready to go... The downside is that after a few uses the polish gets very thick and does not go on smoothly, I still have half a bottle left, but it is too thick to use now, I might have to add nail polish remover to the bottle to thin it out! I bought this on the back of all of the positive reviews, they were wrong. I wear bright red nail varnish but usually have my fingers done at the salon In hard gel but I paint my own toes with No7 bright red and it lasts 2 weeks. During lockdown I missed my red fingernails so thought I’d try this with the hope of maybe getting a good week out of it, I didn’t even get a day,. The ends of my nails chipped within the hour and my usual 2 weeks toes lasted less than a day, it’s almost like it weakens your usually good nail varnish. The only positive is that it does dry quickly. I will not buy again. Read more

I love this Sally Hansen top coat, it does shorten the drying time, so I ALWAYS use it after having applied my nail polish. I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 because it doesn't have a particularly long shelf life. I keep having to buy new bottles, but I do come back to this product, and would recommend it. Read more

I find this product excellent and use it in conjunction with Sally Hansen nail polish. It seems to protect the varnish for several days although it is only touch dry after applying and I wait about 30 minutes to make sure it’s completely dry. Read more

One of my favorite quick dry top coats out there. Can even go on still drying polish and dries hard so quickly. Works great over nail art too! I used to use poshe, but I find that this one is better (and a bigger bottle!) so I have made a full switch to SH now. Read more
