We purchased these to help support a couple of bookcases in an old house with uneven floors. The product works as it's supposed to, it was just not what we needed. We ended up using L-brackets to hold the bookcases against the wall to keep them completely upright. We did save the extras since we have a baby on the way, but I'm still not sure how these add to the safety of larger furniture, like dressers or bookcases, since the design is to prevent the piece of furniture from falling completely on the floor but still allows the furniture to tip about a foot and would therefore allow any drawers or unattached items (books, decor, etc) to fall off and injure a child. The only reason I’m giving this item a 3 star review is because of the headache I’ve had trying to receive them. I ordered 3 sets. Meaning I should have received 24 straps. When my package got delivered, it only had 6 straps, so not even a full set of 8. After a refund was issued, I reordered two more sets (12 straps). I only received one set (6 straps). Still waiting on my final replacement and hopefully that one has what I’m looking for.Overall, installation is easy. Make sure you follow directions on how to install, otherwise they would not be safe. The videos showing how ineffective these are are holding them at the wrong angle, therefore they are not safe. With proper installation you shouldn’t have a problem. I tested my dressers by opening up all drawers and really pulling on it, and the straps didn’t budge. I feel a lot safer for my child with these installed. I would also suggest installing two straps per piece of furniture, or more if it is a heavy/long piece. Read more

These prevent your furniture from being flush against the wall. You have to stick your arm behind the middle of your furniture to tighten the strap. They are easily tightened, but just as easily loosened by pulling on the piece of furniture. If I hadn't had to open the package to install them, I would return them. I bought an 8 pack and only used two. I will not be using the rest. Read more

These have worked out great for us so far.Definitely you need a drill bit and you need to drill holes into your studs before you attempt to bolt these to the wall or furniture. One time I didn't drill the hole far enough into the stud beforehand, so the screw head got stripped out when I tried to screw in the regular screw.Otherwise they seem pretty great. They are plastic but seem sturdy enough when the straps are taught between the furniture and wall Read more

I ordered these wall straps after we had a very scary incident with our 2-year-old daughter. We found her in her room with her dresser tipped on top of her. She had pulled out all the drawers and the dresser fell on top of her. Thankfully she was okay, other than a little bump on her head. I started researching the issue and found these straps. This set came with enough straps to securely attach two dressers to the wall. My husband installed them quickly and we have been using them for several weeks now. The dresser seems very sturdily attached to the wall and we have not had any more tipping issues. Read more

great product - effectively secures furniture to the walls as long as you screw into the studs. However, I had a problem twice with the number of straps included - specifically with this set of 8. There are supposed to be eight straps in this particular bundle or set and they sent me only two packs of two straps twice. The second time was intended as a replacement and they asked me to return the first set, After speaking to customer service and clearing up that I finally had the number I originally ordered everything was fine, but it could have been easily avoided by sending the right number the first time. these are much more difficult to install than other ones i have used, but they are very secure, there are two screws into each part and a heavy duty strap. make sure you read all the directions before you install, i put the wall end up too high and now there is too much slack between the wall and the furniture so it can move, (wont tip but moves front to back a little) make sure you put the wall end down low because with the metal connector you have to leave the strap long. Good straps, they do what they are expected to do. After installing 2 of them per unit, I can pull with all my weight and not pul the dressers down. And I'm over 200 lbs; my 38-pound daughter will be fine. The wall screws that came with these stripped immediately when I used the drill, and even when I did them carefully by hand. Part of the problem is that they tell you in the instructions to drill a 1/8" pilot hole, which is too small. Anyway, You might want to get your own screws. Read more

I like that the straps come apart to move furniture. I don't like how easy the straps slip through the bucket, allowing the furniture to start tipping before it catches, resulting in anything on top still falling. Read more

Easy to install with clear instructions. I especially like that you can unhook the straps easily if you need to move the furniture for cleaning or whatever reason. Read more
