I bought this after I learned that the Anastasia creme palette I’ve used for years is no longer being made. They still make the powder version, but I need the creme because I’m over 40 and creme-based make ups just work better on skin that’s lost some of it’s elasticity and natural oils.I always worry that new make up will either give me a rash or a breakout because I have sensitive skin. This did not. It didn’t clog pores or cause a reaction.The colors in this palette are great apart from contouring, too, though it works great to accentuate my cheekbones and contour my nose. The peach color makes a flattering blush and the various shades of brown work great as creme eyeshadow, too.Overall, I think this is a great product and I recommend you buy it. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills powder contour palette, but wanted to try cream contour. I didn't want to fork out the money for a high end one to decide I don't like cream.To test it out, this worked great. I like the way it looks and it is easy to use and blend. I like the feel and look of cream better. BUT, this is always basically gone by the time I get home whether that's been 12 hours or six hours. I've tried my setting powders and sprays that have always worked with everything else, but seem to have no holding power here.So, the colors look pretty and go on smooth, but Im not sure how long they stay. They always seem to be totally gone by the time I get home, and it's not like I'm out working in the sun or working out and working up a sweat.I'd say this is great for practice but if you want it to stay all day... or for long... try something else.Every powder I've ever used worked better. I had been seeing a lot of Facebook ads for cream foundation palette's, and while I was interested in trying them, I did not want to pay a lot of money. I was hesitant to purchase this, but I'm so glad I did, it is amazing. I use it with a beauty blender and I do follow the picture instructions it comes with about where to apply the contour, the highlight, and the actual foundation. I have gotten multiple compliments about it. I do find that I like to put it on early and let it settle on my face a little bit, but once I dust it with powder it looks really pretty and luminous. Don’t know why this was given such great reviews. The quality of the make up was poor, save yourself the money, and purchase one from a drugstore. It was flaky and did not go on nicely. The texture of the makeup appeared dry and was dry to apply to face. Read more
