I must say, I was disappointed when I opened up this package to find that these clips were slightly different from the ones I had previously bought and had just broken, at least two years after purchase. (The metal springs had become rusty, it was my own fault with poor care). Anyways, these clips are sturdy and heavy duty, but they are narrow when they are completed opened/expanded, and don’t hold that much hair. I have medium thickness, wavy and frizzy. If you have thick hair, good luck with these! I get frustrated on a daily basis trying to position all of my hair in it. I bought the amber and purple 2 pack bundle. They are very sturdy and can hold all of my super long hair which is down to almost my bum FYI. I use the Amber one almost daily and the purple one couple times since I got them. Well sometime after 2 weeks after receiving, the purple one has started to flake, it looks like the glaze stuff over the plastic is peeling, flaking off on both the outside and inside of the clip. The only downer for me is these a bit stiff to open the clip, if you have wrist issues, etc...please be aware of this. I do not think my grandma could or would like to use these because of that. Also, when I try to open them, half the time it goes flying to the floor or in the air somewhere because the clip is stiff to open. These both are beautiful hair clips, as well as a WONDERFUL grip! My hair isn't "thick", but it's not thin either. A lit if clips though will start to slide down after a short bit. Not these! I had another one of these clips that I had ordered last year(2020). It broke and I had to order new one. I went into my previous order and ordered directly from there. When I got it I immediately noticed it was a different clip; from the size to the color. The clip doesn’t hold as much hair and it does not clip as nicely as the other one. Very disappointed.
