This is amazing oil - I purchased rose scent after contemplating why am I spending $25 for yardley body spray just because I love the scent? Why not just buy rose essential oil for less? Smart decision, me! When this product arrived (fast), you could smell it immediately when you open the envelope. It's beautiful. Even hermetically closed, and packed in a cute box, it filled my room with that familiar smell I like so much. I even kept the box and tucked it in a drawer with unmentionables. I got this because I love the smell of jasmine (tea, flowers, etc.) and had just recently gotten a mini room humidifier. I figured because I love the smell I would get an essential oil to put into my humidifier so my room can smell like jasmine! I am an avid user of essential oils. I particularly like to use them for healing. Rose I like use in my unscented lotion, but ordinarily I purchase an absolute, because I cannot afford an undiluted. This had so many good reviews I thought I’d try it. The moral of this little story is, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. I seriously doubt this is real rose essential oil. For one the price is too low. It smells like rose but very very pungent. If put on anything in the open air without a carrier oil it does not dissipate as essential oils do. It stays very strong smelling and perfumy and is so strong a drop on a cotton ball in my dresser stunk up the whole bedroom. My thought is that it’s a fragrance which is a chemical. Without taking it to a lab, I can’t prove it, however I have also not seen any proof that it is an essential oil either. I would not put this on my skin nor would I purchase it again. Read more

This scent is amazing, especially for the price! True smell of Bulgarian rose, and at a nice strength. I’ve bought the high end oils (read ridiculously expensive, as in $350) and although those products are stronger, I still can’t believe how inexpensive this was. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat. I got the three pack of rose, sandalwood and vanilla, and those are fabulous too! I’m an aromatherapist and have used my fair share of oils. This really is good. Read more

This does not in any way smell of real sandalwood or a real essential oil. You can feel the chemicals hit the back of your neck when you smell the bottle. I would not put it anywhere near my body. Ordering Sandalwood at this price was wishful thinking. Smelling it confirmed that thinking! If you want something that smells remotely like sandalwood for a diffuser it would probably be ok. If you're concerned about breathing chemicals, then I would avoid it. Read more

I was looking for Sandal Wood essential oil. I ordered this one from this seller. The make is RAINBOW ABBY, but like someone else mentioned on a previous review, the latin name is nowhere to be found on the packaging nor the bottle. When checking the packaging carfully, i notice "made in china". I have serious doubts now about this product. It is written: Organic Plant Essential Oil, but no where to check this information. I will not buy again, and will only use this oil in a diffuser. I will look for a certified brand, more carefully, and probably pay extra and have more guaranty of the quality and origins of the products.
