These aren’t sheer but I’m I don’t think they are intended to be? They aren’t really noticeable in the day time on off- white walls. I’d strongly recommend placing somewhere with a LOT of light. I had them near the window originally but they didn’t glow AT ALL. There’s a lamp in the corner and I determined where the light is strongest on the wall and placed the butterflies where each bulb hits the brightest. They glow now. Also note that I moved them and I was able to take them off a wall with no problem and restick them without a problem. If you can lightly wipe off the wall prior to placement to there’s no dust, I’m sure that helps. Read more

I am 19 yr old guy who applied this on my bedroom because it looks amazing , it's not just for nursery or female/girly only stickers...Srry I couldn't get any night captured photos because these photos were taken with a mobile phone .But I would recommend to anyone who wants to change their room or decorate them. Before buying this , make sure that you have some artists skill to make it even , it took me 3 hours and a lot of mistake just to get the design or wave that I wanted on my walls.The glow in the dark is awesome, but those who has weak ligthing, it's going to be hard for you , if you care about glowing the stickers in the dark. I bought this for my daughter's room expecting some cheap stickers that held a glow for 5 minutes. The total amount of butterflies/dragon flies in the package is 70. 70 !!! I was not expecting so many! Also they range from all different sizes, giant ones as wide as my hand can stretch and small ones about 2 inches wide. There were so many that I was able to scatter them all over the walls of her room., and I managed to put 4 on the ceiling too. (although) I don't recommend it for pop-corn painted ceilings, I was able to get 2 out of the six to stay on due to the ceiling). The glow from these lasts a good 5 minutes with just a little lighting, my daughter always forgets to shut her light off when she leaves the room, and I usually turn it on 30 mins before bedtime for her to get the full effect., and when the lights go off , WOW !!! It's brilliant ! we sit staring at the ceiling and walls talking about random stuff as she falls asleep. IT is definitely worth the money!!!!! I paid 16 $$ for a specialty glow in the dark wall decal and it doesn't glow as bright or last as long! I am truly satisfied with this product and will buy it for her friends. Read more

I LOVE how the butterflies look when they glow. But they only glow for about 3 min. 😔 I think it should not me that way. What can I do for them to glow more or ALL night long? This product is a complete waste of money. The first day I pasted them on the wall it looked pretty, however the next day the stars went dead. They did not illuminate again after just one night. That is ridiculous and borderline criminal. It's as if they trick you into buying this crap because you cannot return it once it's used. BEWARE!!! Got these for our 5 year old's room and we like them well enough. The glow is strong and long-lasting, it gives her something to gaze at while she drifts off to sleep. They are easy to apply, remove and reapply. I put them in a swarm spreading over 2 walls and the ceiling, very cute effect. They applied over corners from wall to wall or wall to ceiling no problem, and there really are enough butterflies in one set to make a big swarm. My only complaint is that in broad daylight they look somewhat cheap. The stickers would be greatly improved if they didn't have the clear edges around the glowing butterfly- they would look less cheap. Also the clear edges will show fingerprints- especially if you're applying them to a wall that's a bright color, so you have to be a little careful placing and re-positioning them. Read more
