I have used manzanilla products before and opted for this brand as it was cheaper than my usual brand (Grisi).... I found it works just as good as Grisi's manzanilla but costs less. I am growing out my grey hair and have been trying to lighten my dark hair so that my grey hair has a less of a hard line of hair color. This shampoo has helped me accomplish that. You do have to let it sit in your hair for at least a few minutes (more if you can).... it can be drying to your hair so don't be surprised about that... a small price to pay for lightening my hair gradually without bleaching it. This shampoo is so cute, it comes with a rattle top that my daughter loves to play in the tub. Basically, it's a tub toy and shampoo in one. It's SLS free, the sulfate it does have is the mildest form and cleans without drying. Her hair (half-Asian) hair stays cleaner longer before getting oily. The smell is faint and nice - it has REAL chamomile in the ingredients (although I don't know exact amounts). It suds up really nicely and foams beautifully to clean quickly. Overall for $5 I'm impressed! This is an excellent brand for the price. I've seen baby shampoos 3x as much and it's not as good as this one.Does it lighten hair? Hmm chamomile does brighten hair but I think it's more for marketing - the smell is of chamomile so if you like the smell, get it! Just try it it's $5. Read more
