Beautiful product! Revlon is my favorite lipstick brand for the sheer buttery formulas.There’s just one problem: Revlon has two products (the lip butter and this lipstick) that have the same name: Pink Truffle. I’ve tried googling to find out if they were the same, but couldn’t find an answer. So I took one for the team so to speak.I bought both products (have tried the butter and fell in love with it) and have compared them in these pictures.1 is the square lip butter that has been discontinued, and 2 is the lipstick. My opinion is that the butter is more sheer, while the lipstick is more of a solid.Unfortunately I don’t think it’s a dupe, but it does come somewhat close. Hope this helps*UPDATE 10/19/2020*I have found a product with the color of this lipstick, but more of a glossy balm like the lip butter! The product is Canmake stay on rouge balm number 16, Earl Grey Tea. If you like the lipstick but want a more buildable product with the hydration of a balm, I highly suggest trying the Canmake. I had this lipstick for ages and my tube started to hit the bottom, so I repurchased from amazon and it came within the time frame.This lipstick is the perfect red for pin up, it is matte without drying out my lips, and it absolutely doesn't feather, bleed, or budge. It's hard to tell the color by looking at this online. I thought this lipstick was not much different than my actual lip color (I'm a very white girl lol), maybe a tiny bit darker, but then has a nice shimmer to it, like you expect from "pearl" in the name. I would call it more of a nude instead of a pink, in my opinion.With that said, I do like it! I lean more toward nude colors anyway, but I also love the feel on my lips. I'm not one to wear much lipstick, I typically just put on chap stick, lol, and it feels just like that on my lips. Photo, left to right: Black Cherry, Spicy Cinnmon, Extra Spicy, Peach Me, Ipanema Beach.Ipanema Beach: very light, pink with a bit of peach, works well for my fair, pink/yellow skintone. Also layers nicely with darker colors to make a medium hue. Lasts fairly well alone or layered. Leaves a slightly sticky residue even after wiping off and washing with mild cleanser. Didn't notice this residue with any other colors.Peach Me: orange-toned pink.Extra Spicy: orange-toned red. Was expecting this to be darker and more brown, based on images online, but like the color anyway.Spicy Cinnamon: blue-toned red/dark pink. Also not as dark as expected.Black Cherry: reddish/purplish. Not as dark as expected. Went on smoothly, not patchy, but wore off more quickly than the other colors. Read more

Revlon is my favorite lipstick brand. The shades are amazing, and I love that you can buy ones developed in the 1950’s! I don’t like thick or overly scented lip formulas. Long wears also fade on me & leave a dark outline. Cherry Blossom is a pretty, bright pink red. It’s Pearl, so provides a subtle metallic sheen. It will last a few hours but it’s so easy to apply, who cares? That’s when you take out your compact & touch up your lipstick! Carnival Spirit:Funny how different colors from the same line can be so different. This peachy-orange lipstick is very pretty, but quite sheer even on light-colored lips. It has the feel of a thick gloss as opposed to a lipstick. Because it's not as pigmented, it will wear off faster than some other colors. Still a great color for summer and very moisturizing.Color: Love That Red.Extremely pigmented. Even a little shows easily on your lips (I am fair skinned). Really sinks into your lips and has a great texture. It doesn't come off on your glass easily. I really love this red and I enjoy wearing it when I want my lips to pop.For a little extra tone, use this as a base and top with Carnival Spirit.Color: Va Va VioletA deep color for autumn, winter, or evenings out. Recommend a lipstain underneath if you have light colored lips if you're unable to apply for a while. Takes a few swipes to build up the color, but it's very pretty. Definitely a cool color. Sadly this was very pale on me I was looking for an orange colour for a change from my normal pinks. I did wear it for a day but had to keep reapplying it as it didn't stay on. I hope this helps. Read more
