(I put the steamer close to the wall to take the pics so you'd be able to see the amount of steam it emits)I decided to try the Revlon Illuminating Facial Steamer for a few weeks before writing my review to see if I noticed any changes to my skin.The machine itself is bigger than I expected. I dont' mean to imply that its overly huge, I just pictured something smaller. It fits nicely on my bathroom counter and its lighter than i expected. The instructions are simple to follow. One thing to ALWAYS remember is to make sure you fill the tank with water EVERY SINGLE TIME you use it to the level line marked on the tank. When you've finished using it, dump the excess water from the tank. Don't reuse it, fill it again each time you use the system. And make sure the system is UNPLUGGED when you fill the water tank and insert it into the steamer. Make sure the system is UNPLUGGED when you remove the water tank from the system as well.It takes roughly 40 seconds after turning it on for the steam to come out. Do NOT put your face right up against the nozzle. Do not touch the nozzle when its in use, the nozzle gets HOT. Read the directions so you know how close to get to the steamer so you don't get burned. The tank provides 20 minutes of steam as long as you fill it up to the water level line prior to turning the system on.The steamer has a built in timer which you can control and the instructions clearly explain how to set/use the timer. A light will come on around the on/off switch when the system has run out of water.Cleaning the system is easy. Make sure to discard all water remaining in the tank and use a towel to dry out the system.I use the Revlon facial steamer 2-3 times per week for approx. 10 minutes each time. I have extremely sensitive skin. SO many products cause me to break out. I have eczema as well. My eczema is very mild at this time of the year, thankfully, but I still have some itching. The very first time I used the Revlon Illuminating Facial Steamer, I noticed a different in my skin. The very FIRST TIME! My skin felt GOOD when I finished. I know that's a pathetic description, but it did. My face felt good and very refreshed. My concern was that I felt that way since this is a new product for me to use and eventually, that feeling would stop happening. It has not. Every single time I use this, my skin feels and LOOKS great. I do sometimes apply a light layer of unscented lotion to my face after I do a treatment. My skin is so soft. It kind of reminds me a child's delicate, soft skin and not what it actually is... skin belonging to someone who is in her mid-40's, who has experienced too many incidents of sunburn, makeup use, eczema etc. And that is thanks to the Revlon Illuminating Facial steamer. It really is.I will be going on vacation soon for a few days and my Revlon steamer will be coming along, no doubt about it. This steamer is now a part of my routine and will remain that way.And BTW...this isn't just for women. My husband uses it as well and he loves it. And speaking of him...while this isn't what the steamer is supposed to be used for, I thought I'd mention this anyway. Somehow, he got a cold. Its the middle of summer and somehow, he managed to catch a cold. (We did go to a casino not long before he got sick, he probably picked up germs there?) He happened to be using the steamer on his face and realized he was having a much easier time breathing through his stuffy nose thanks to the steam. And that, in a nutshell, is this machine's claim to fame. There is not much to it--just a simple, concise water container to fill and one button to push for a 15 minute steam session. Push that button twice and you get five minutes more. Sit down or stand up, the little mini cone that embedded at the steam exit hole can be angled.The steam comes out strongly enough that your face gets enough steam without a needing to use a big face-size cone to help direct the wimpy wisps of steam that cheaper steamer models provide. And that is a real plus. Have you ever had to store a steamer that comes with a big cone to fit the face? I have--two of them, actually. So, I can say with certainty that this compact steamer--that DOES NOT NEED A FULL-FACE DIRECTIONAL CONE--is the way to go.Yes, those other models that I picked up about 7-8 years ago were a bit less than half the price of this one, but they were a pain to store and a pain to drag out from cabinet underneath the sink, (which was the only place that they would fit). This one stands 9" tall. It is made of hard plastic, and it is anything but wimpy. It sits very stable. It does not jiggle around. The media could not be loaded.  The Revlon Illuminating Warm Mist Facial Steamer does work. It is not very small as I expected it to be but compact enough to sit on the counter-top of our bathroom. It does heat up fast and starts pumping steam out within matter of seconds. The Adjustable nozzle controls the direction of steam. Although I strongly warn that you do not touch that area when steam is pouring out. That area is very HOT and will burn your fingers.The reservoir holds water which the heater inside makes it steam and blows it out. It does works silently. Please See the video and some pictures that I have posted to give you an idea. BTW, The noise you hear is not from the steamer but FAN inside the bathroom. This would be primarily for facial hydration purposes. Few minutes a day would surely make your facial skin hydrated. It can also double as relief from cold which you get during allergies season. You can add couple of drops of eucalyptus essential oil and use it in that fashion too.Bottom-line: It does work as advertised and can come handy. This is my first steamer. As i am getting older I keep hearing about the benefits of steaming your face for hydration and better penetration of facial moisturizers, creams, serums as well as to be able to thoroughly clean your pores. This was super simple to use, pour water into the removable tank and steam literally pours out in seconds. There is two setting timer for 15 to 20 minutes. It was so nice and relaxing to use, i am a mom of four kids so to have the time to do this often is far fetched but to be able to do this weekly is definitely doable. It felt so nice and relaxing and afterwards putting on a moisturizer just felt better, felt better absorbed. There is a reason why spas use steamers so to have this at home is awesome. I do think its priced a little high compared to other steamers i saw, but it works great and very happy with my first facial steamer! La descripción no ofrece suficinte información, lo confundí con otro muy parecido, gran diferencia este no puede utilizarse con aceites escenciales. El vapor te deja una sesación extraña como muy seca en comparación con la clasica ollita de agua la cual te deja una sensasion de humedad esto no sucede con este vapor, lo cual no se si sea bueno o malo.
