They are soft and I guess serve a purpose for certain things. They’re great for being eco-friendly but my problem is they absorb all of your product so you have to use so much more. Depending on what you’re using that might not be a problem but I’m not about to waste a bunch of toner or make up remover using these :/I’m sad because I really wanted to like them and they are very soft but four squirts of toner and one wipe on my face and the round was dry. When first used, the toners I used pooled up and slipped off causing me to use more product than normal. Once they were washed and dried that issue went away and I love them! I would recommend washing and drying before use! Read more

I use these pads in the morning and at night to apply my toner, and they seem to be working just as I'd hoped. I read some reviews that said they soak up the product too much, but I don't really see that problem. The first time I used them I over compensated and got my hand and floor totally wet. I think they're just bigger than the average cotton pad, so if you really want to soak it you do need to use more product, but that's a little wasteful. I've also found its best to wash your face prior to using these; they stain really easy and it's hard to get out. I have washed them about 5 times now and they're still holding up and soft, though some of them have left over mascara on them now. I usually soak them in baking soda water before I wash them (especially if they're stained) and it does seem to help get some of the stains out. Overall, I like them and I may need to get more! I would give these a 3.5 if that was an option. These aren’t 100% bamboo. Most are only 30% bamboo and it comes with 3 that are 80% bamboo. The 80% bamboo ones are better than the others, it has a rougher (but still soft) texture, which I like because it’s better for exfoliating. It also absorbs cleanser better. The others feel like velour and do not absorb liquid at all. They are extremely soft on your face but feels like they aren’t actually cleaning anything. It comes with a bag to wash them in and can be washed in a washing machine. I haven’t washed any yet, so I can’t comment on that. Read more

I have been looking at going to reusable makeup wipes for a while. These are so great. I used some before I washed them, then again after I washed them. I would most definitely recommend to wash then before you use them. Some of them seem to soak up the remover more then others. To wash them you just throw them in the bag that come with them, and throw it in the washer. For I will sometimes spray the white ones with some stain remover to make sure they get supper clean! I used to go through a lot of disposable makeup wipes. I switched to these to be more eco-friendly, and I’m so glad I did. These are much softer and silkier than a disposable wipe and I think my skin is doing better with them. I like how many there are, so I only have to wash them once per week or once every other week. I just toss them in their little bag, put them in with my laundry, move them over to the dryer, and they come out clean, fresh, soft, and good as new. These reusable face pads are great and I'm glad I made the jump away from the disposable cotton ones.Just to address some concerns other reviewers had, I didn't find them thin or flimsy they are made from two layers of material. It does take a split second longer for the miceller water to soak into them compared to the disposable pads, I just hold it flat in the palm of my hand so it doesn't run off. They wash and dry well, I stack them up in the hot press and that seems to help them keep their shape.The little bag is so handy for washing them so they don't get lost in the machine and I have it hanging from my dressing table so I can put the used ones in it.I bought two sets of these so I always have enough in rotation between washes. Disappointed. These are very flimsy with no substance so I have to double fold them to use then feels harsh on my face. Also micellar water or toner just runs off. The pads are a good size and come in 3 different colours.I like to use the black pads with cleanser to remove my mascara. I use the others for my toner.They wash well and dry quite quickly and I like that they come with a wash bag.I now just need a nice storage container. Read more
