Sure I bought it to help with stretch marks (the newer ones anyway... the old ones, well, I didn't expect miracles. Im very fair so everything is going to show) - but also to try to add some elasticity to my skin after having lost a good bit of weight. Im old-ish so it just doesn't snap back unfortunately.Now, while I love the feeling of it and the light scent - it does seem to have helped with some of the red marks over time which is great. However, the BEST thing was that I started using the residual from applying it to my body on my face in the morning. It works as probably the best moisturizer Ive tried. Not super greasy, no breakouts, no dry skin patches (that Im pretty prone to - no matter what Ive used... and Ive used a LOT) and even though my dermatologist said I should never use oil on my face - they recently commented that my skin never looked better and they noticed a significant reduction in the redness on my face. So, needless to say - Im a fan.Im not sure if everyone else would find it to work the same for them- since everyone is different - but I would say it is worth trying it out. Read more
The smell is amazing, the moisturizing effect is perfect for full body, face, and I discovered accidentally- for frizzy hair too! Lol. I did ask seller if the oil can be mixed with other oils, like fractionated coconut oil and they said yes. So I did.I have stretch marks, uneven skin tone and hyperpigmentation, Folliculitis, Keratosis Pilaris, and bad ingrown hair issues as well as facial hair due to hormonal imbalance from having PCOS. I have olive skin and dark thick hair. Inner thighs are always covered in painful red bumps the second hair starts to grow back. Yes, my skin is crazy crappy. Or was.This oil mixed with fractionated coconut oil in equal parts applied 1-2 times daily, daily dry brushing and exfoliation in shower and waxing for hair removal have drastically improved my skin both body and face. I have pretty dry skin, especially in the Winter and with the cold weather just around the corner I was looking for a skin oil that I could apply dry, but isn't greasy and that's hard to find and this is exactly what I was looking for! I was able to apply this all over and afterwards I rubbed the remaining oil through my hands and did not have that leftover greasy residue. And the applicator is perfect. I purchased this with very low expectations. I have very dry skin and keratosis pilaris. My forearms are always red (looks like I have a never-ending sunburn), bumpy and just plain annoying. I tend to scratch in my sleep and wake up with little bloody spots on my arms. Not good at all. I have been using ReTone for about a month now and Wow! It actually works! The redness is almost completely gone and there's no more bumps. It has far exceeded my expectations. The shower wash goes a long way and I only need to use a tiny bit - it should last for several more months. The after shower body oil smells really good too. It goes on like an oil, but soaks in surprisingly well and doesn't leave me wit that greasy feeling. My arms look so good I'm happily wearing sleeveless tops for the first time in years. Bought this body oil to gear up for the upcoming boston winter season, I had already used the restone cream and loved how hydrating it was so I figured I would give this one a try. This had the most amazing smell of a body oil Ive ever smelt. it must be the goko nut but it its not an in your face fragrance more like a subtle warm coconut vanilla hints that linger after you rub the oil in. Vanilla scent. Super moisturizing and non-greesy. DOES NOT transfer onto clothes (which I love) Its mildly thick so I like to have my belly wet or moist for easier glide on.
