Seems like a nice dryer but it's way too heavy. It only takes me 10 minutes to dry my hair and it got pretty uncomfortable. Also not crazy about the diffuser. Too small and too much air flow gets through so it blows my hair around which makes my curls frizzy. On the up side it's pretty, dries quickly and plenty of options with the controls. I've been looking for a new dryer forever and was so hoping this one was it but unfortunately it's not. Besides that it was shipped in the display box it came in from the manufacturer rather than being packed into a shipping box so it got banged around pretty badly and some of the plastic tray that holds it inside was broken. The box was sealed with just two tiny pieces of tape so huge gaps all around the box and when it got left on the front step in the rain it got wet. This is a very pretty, well made blow dryer. But it doesn’t gets the job done.The problem this hairdryer has is that the air does not quite get hot enough. At this price point, this blow dryer should be salon quality. And maybe it's designed for people who want to style their hair very slowly at low temperature. But because this one can’t be cranked up to be hot enough for more utilitarian uses, it fails to deliver.And let’s be honest: the central element to any blow dryer is the ability to dry hair. This one leaves mine kind of frizzy. If it got hotter, this wouldn’t be an issue. So ultimately it’s serviceable but disappointing.Otherwise, it’s nice. So disappointed with this not inexpensive hair dryer. Even on the lowest speed setting it blows too hard & fast! Because of this, my curls blow around too much and look awful & frizzy. I love how lightweight it is and the size of the dryer and the diffuser. Just so disappointed in drying speed. I never use it. Read more

Remington PROLUXE HydraCare Dryer, Pearl White/Gray $129.99This is the nicest handheld hair dryer I have ever owned. This worked great on drying my washed locs. I love the various settings. The switches are easy to operate and the indicator lights are easy to see. I have an older dryer and the labeling quickly rubbed off so it is sometimes a guessing game as to what setting the dryer is on. Sound is as expected for a hair dryer so no difference there. It honestly did feel like my hair was drying faster than usual without making it feel crispy or irritating my scalp with high heat. I have not had a chance to try out the other attachments but I am very pleased with the settings and how well it operates thus far. The media could not be loaded.  This Remington hairdryer is extremely powerful. It sounds like a rocket is taking off when you turn it on! I have never had a hair dryer that projects as much drying power as this one. This uses a digital motor that delivers airspeed of up to 80 mph for much faster drying. It has three heat settings and two speed settings. You can also use the moisture lock feature which is supposed to release micro conditioners into the air to preserve moisture in your hair. It also has a Hydrocare hair sensor that is supposed to be the ultimate protection against heat damage. The hairdryer comes with three attachments so that you can customize the styling method of your choice. The hairdryer has an extra long 9 foot cord which is super convenient. The only negative I can say about this dryer, is it is fairly heavy to be a small dryer. This is my only reason for not giving this unit five stars. However, the wonderful features this hairdryer offers far outweighs the fact that this is a heavy hairdryer. This is replacing my favorite hairdryer and I would highly recommend it to others. Este secador de pelo es pequeño pero definitivamente es más pesado de lo que pensé, se siente de muy buena calidad hecho con buen material, por igual los cabezales del secador, son fáciles de cambiar, de buen material y se mantienen bien hasta que se quitan intencionalmente.En cuanto al secado, es un secador potente (comparado al tamaño realiza un excelente secado) además tiene una serie de configuraciones para que pueda personalizarse y obtener un resultado perfecto.Además incluye una tecnología llamada HydraCare, (que me dejó impresionada desde la primera vez de uso).
