So I absolutely love this dryer! It does what it's supposed to. I use it on a nearly daily basis and my hair always comes out very smooth. Literally the only down side to this dryer is the cord and plug. The cord is extremely short and the plug always falls out of my outlet no matter which one I use (probably because the cord is so short). I'm only 5'3 and the cord is about 4' I think but I have to use an extension cord to be able to use this without any cord/plug issues. For me this is fine and the reason for 4 stars because I can deal with the extension cord and had a spare one to use. If my hair didn't come out as smooth as it does then I probably wouldn't use it. I bought this to replace my old CHI blow dryer that I was gifted nearly 6 years ago that was starting to lose life. My Hello Kitty blow dryer that a friend bought me from Target 6 years ago has finally stopped working, RIP. After much research on Amazon, I decided to go with this hair dryer and I have absolutely no regrets. It is at a great price point and works extremely well. I honestly never even knew hair dryers would make a difference in how frizzy your hair was, but I see a huge difference after using this hair dryer. My hair was always frizzy and I just attributed it to having fine, wavy hair. However, since I've started using this hair dryer, my hair has been noticeably smoother. My favorite features of this dryer are the 3 heat and 2 speed settings. I have mine either on the lowest or medium heat setting to prevent heat damage, but on the highest speed, so it dries quickly. I waited a while to review this. I so wanted a copy of my old model and it just was not to be had. This is perfect. I like the addition of the diffusier attachment. It is very easy to attach and also remove.but does not fall off when using it. I have naturally wavy hair , it really unlocks the curls and gives a nice bounce to my hair for a nautural look. The color is beautiful, feels great to hold and use. It's not hard plastic but soft feeling, light, easy to use, not big and awkward. My husband loves it and the way it dried his hair. I haven't used a hair dryer in years but my new style kinda requires it. Never used a diffuser either. But I am beyond thrilled with this purchase. It’s easy to hold, soft to the touch and doesn’t get hot. After 15 min of use, I can touch the diffuser with no problem. It is also fairly quiet. My only complaint about this hair dryer is the short cord length. It is not salon length as advertised. The dryer power isn't as powerful as I expected, but it still drys my hair quickly. -I tested it, and it didn't start the next day.It started working with the same plug and situations a while later and it lasted 5-6 dries more, and it won't work anymore again.I made sure I read all the instructions, and followed them.-Edit: I realised later that for some reason, the test and reset buttons on the plug were getting triggered and that was why it wasn't working.
