Hands down the best hair clipper I've ever owned. I'm sure there are better ones on the market, but for the price this really can't be beat. I've owned probably 5 or 6 pairs of Wahl clippers in my life and always just put up with the pulling and nicks because I thought that's just the way it was. This trimmer was SOOO smooth. It cut right through my hair with zero catching or pulling. I was seriously so happy when I used these. Which did cause me to reevaluate my life a bit as I was so excited about a hair clipper. Upon buying this stellar (sarcasm) clipper, I was overjoyed. I was so happy to have something labeled as VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE (keep this emphasis in mind for later, I beg you) shaving my face without making me look like a baby. I like minor fuzz to tickle the promiscuous lady that may brush faces with me, without her laughing at my smooth face like I am a 15 year old boy. This gave me a great look, my hot jaw line was accented and I returned to my prime spiciness.But AS THE SAGA CONTINUED:When I went to use the razor this morning, it shaved half of my face and STOPPED. I read the directions, to make sure I had used it properly. Apparently it is not waterproof AT ALL.Why in all of tarnation would you label a clippers as VIRTUALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE IF IT WAS SUBJECT TO WATER DAMAGE. How else would I damage this? When I was shaving a Kodiak bears butt, and it attacked me? When I went fighting fires and brought it with me? We just received these clippers a few days ago and I used them to cut my husbands coarse/ wavy hair. Not only did they give a nice, sharp trim, but the clippers themselves are sturdy and ergonomic with a rubber grip. No worries about noise or excessive heating either. Just clean cutting action. The blades do not adjust down to zero, but they are close enough to clean up the neck area and around the ears. I was impressed with the guide combs and how nicely the clippers cut at each length of comb. The blade slides out for cleaning (which is recommended at the end of every cutting session) and oil is provided for keeping the blades lubricated. Very happy with this purchase!____________________________Now almost a year later, I just want to say these are still great! I buzz my head every weekend and this thing does a great job at it, previously used a $20 Wahl buzzer and it worked alright for about 3 years but it was never as good as this one and the adjustments were a pain in the ass on that one, unlike this one which is much easier. Great product to groom oneself during the COVID19 quarantine. This is a simple basic hair trimmer set great for people who want to cut their own hair. The rubber grip ergonomically fits in your hand just right. Its small, light, low noise is what sets this product from its competitors. The set comes with a cape to shield your clothes and brush and oil to clean and lubricate the trimmer after use. Set also comes with comb and scissors which I did not use. This unit is basic since the attachments do not include the left and right ear guides and does not have the open/close blade .5 flip adjustment on the side. Cuts smoothly with no snagging and provides a haircut just like a barbershop. I also bought the Wahl 2 in 1 with built in trimmer which has more attachments, adjustments and is better for cutting other peoples hair but not on yourself since it is heavier, noisier and doesn't grip/feel as good in your hand as this Remington. I only wish this Remington had a trimmer feature. I regret not buying any type of hair trimmer sooner since I would have saved so much money by cutting my own hair and haircuts for my 2 sons. I bought this to replace the old one that I had of a different brand to help trim my legs. I was not expecting to get this much! It worked really well for the first time!. Hopefully, it lives up to its "Indestructible" name. I thought it was pretty cool it came with a Barber cape. It came with probably more than what I need but you never know! I use this to trim my beard and the side of my head, and it does it very efficiently. The blades cut nicely, it's very quiet, and feels extremely sturdy. I've gone through a couple different electric trimmers over the years, all of which have eventually broken or lost their ability to charge, so I purchased this one hoping that I won't have to replace it in a few years. I spent longer that I thought I would reading reviews before deciding between hair clippers. I use mine for weekly or bi-weekly head "shaving" for that super fine stubble Jason Statham style or shorter. I nearly got the $100 Wahl Balding Clippers but saw quite a bit of back and forth about raw skin and it shaving too close etc. Most likely that's just from people not adjusting the blade when the received it but if you ask me that shouldn't be necessary. Those aside, I went with this Remington model and and absolutely satisfied. The pics are all after pics after maybe a 1-2 minute head buzz before work. The clipper's cutting head is the standard size but I like how the body is smaller than expected and had a nice grippy rubberized or silicon feel to it. The face of the metal cutting guard is so smooth and slippery that it doesn't skip or stutter when dragged across your scalp. See photo. It must be coated in something that makes it so slick since usually stainless guards kinda stick to your skin when pressing and sheering across. The cut had zero pulling, nicks, or discomfort. It was nearly therapeutic and as mentioned in the headline, clinically perfect. If you'd like the shortest conceivable stubble buzz like I do rather than the overly shiny head look then definitely get these. Read more

As the title says, these clippers cut EXTREMELY fast, they can keep up with however fast you wanna push 'em. I use them to shave my head, and I have very thick hair, but these clippers have no problem with it at all. However, the product photos are a lie. The blue part is black, and the black parts on the sides are grey. Also, it does not come with the additional T-blade as shown in the photo. I can live with the colour change (duh), but the omission of a major accessory as shown in the photograph knocks two stars off the score. Sorry Remington, I don't like being lied to that much. Just cut my own hair for the first time, and this clipper made it easy. I wanted a nice simple taper cut, #8 (1 inch) on top down to #2 (1/4 inch) at the fringes. Results are at least Supercuts level (and frankly better than all the cuts I've paid for in the past 2 years, since my go-to stylist moved). Youtube is your friend for technique.The lack of a taper lever for mid-guard adjustments is a non-issue unless you're wanting shorter than a #2. If you want a fade cut, the lack of the lever plus the fixed blade setback (looks to be more than a mm) means that this is not the clipper for you. For the rest of us home users, it is pretty brilliant (can't speak to longer hair or beard work though.. see other reviews for those).The pictures in the listing are not accurate.. what I received was a 15 piece kit which includes the clipper (black and grey colour, power cord attached), cheap scissors, guards #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6 #7, #8, a small brush, an oil bottle, a barber cape, a blade guard, and a hardshell case. Oh, and a little instruction pamphlet (not much info).Pros: Very compact, quiet, easy to maneuver, no batteries to wear out in a couple of years. The cord is 8 feet long and isn't a hassle at all in a standard size bathroom. Gets warm but not hot. Guards are high quality and fit precisely. The feel of the unit overall is excellent. For years, I've gone through clipper after clipper, trying to find one that could cut my son's and youngest daughter's EXTREMELY thick hair. When you part their hair, you can't see the scalp, and the individual strands are really thick. Nothing ever did the trick. They would slow down and snag the hair without cutting. These clippers, however, just zipped through my daughter's hair like a hot knife through butter. What would take me 20 minutes with all previous clippers took 5 minutes! These clippers are fast, quiet, with a strong motor. They're small enough to fit comfortably in my small hands, and don't weigh a tonne, but at the same time they feel really sturdy and well made. Es un equipo para uso doméstico que es para lo que buscaba, cortar el cabello de mi familia en esta cuarentena (no tiene el engranaje para ajustar el peine de separación que traen al lado muchas máquinas profesionales). Y al ser de uso doméstico no aguanta un uso rudo o prolongado ya que se llega a calentar un poco. Me gusta que tenga los 8 peines de guía, así se pueden hacer diferentes tamaño de cortes. Deberían cambiar en las especificaciones que sólo se puede usar con cable (es un buen cable, grueso y resistente) e incluir en qué colores la tienen (a mi me mandaron uno gris con amarillo y esperaba el color que describen). Por lo demás, venía con todos los accesorios que dice en las características que son un gran apoyo para darle un mejor uso. No pesa, es fácil de limpiar y potente.
