I had another Remington dryer that finally died after 5 years of daily use. This one seemed similar so I thought I'd give it a try. It is lighter than the one I had before, which is nice. I noticed it doesn't get as hot as my old one though, even when I turn it to the highest heat setting. My hair is fine and wavy/curly so that actually works out for me. I use the diffuser attachment and it snapped onto the end of the dryer with a satisfying click. It seems like it will stay on with no issues. The sound isn't too loud. I think it's a fine dryer for the price, but if you have long or thick hair, you might need something a little more powerful.**EDIT: After using this for a week, I decided to order a different dryer. This thing just does not get hot enough. I'm spending a lot more time drying my chin-length hair than I would with my old dryer and I'm still walking about of the bathroom with an almost wet head. The temperature switch does almost nothing between cool, warm, and hot. The low fan speed is too low and high is too much. My hair has been feathery and weird all week. I only spent $11 on this, so I'm going to keep it as a backup dryer. Read more

I have used this hair blower regularly for about 10 months.Pro's:+multiple fan & heat speeds so I can get what I need+love the purple color+comes with a diffuser (the only way I'd use a hair blower to dry my curly hair)Con's:-the diffuser doesn't have much to screw onto the blower so it now (10 months later) falls off very easily._____________The Bottom Line_____________For general use, this is a great hair blower. If I was to buy a hair blower again, however, I would not get this one. I'm a curly girl who needs a good diffuser. And best part - it came with a diffuser attachment!Well... turns out, after 2 weeks of use, the plastic on the diffuser attachment is SO THIN that it breaks when you put it on and take it off the dryer. I thought I could continue to use the attachment even after a small piece broke off, but the attachment no longer stays on. It falls off, breaking more, every time I tried to use it.On top of that, the hair dryer is very weak compared to my old one. It now takes forever to dry my hair. Seems are not sealed in right, still worked though, the diffuser chipped and I didn't even drop it, and it's a lot heavier than I thought it would be. This was bought for the gym so I can get ready before work. The price was right but the product quality isn't up to par. I'll try to get my money's out of it until it's completely unusable. This dryer was fine while it lasted. It was relatively quiet and did a nice job of drying hair without a great deal of heat.Unfortunately while drying my hair tonight, the dryer components inside the dryer disintegrated. That's right, right in the middle of drying everything inside broke apart and was clanging around. I have never seen such a thing in all my years. Sparks came out first followed by smoke as I was yanking the plug out of the outlet, followed by relief that none of the parts broke out and hit me in the face. I was also happy that it didn't burn down the house.This dryer was only used occasionally and had no mistreatment whatsoever. There was also no dust or hair buildup of any kind on the intake end of the dryer. It looks exactly like it did when it came out of the box. So I did hours of research on hair dryers with diffusers before going for this one. I’ve bought to many hair dryers to admit that never worked the way I wanted it to in my life time than I care to admit. The hard thing on amazon was finding reviews of girls with actual curly hair using ANY of the dryers being sold. So I did my research and settled on this one, what a pleasant surprise! First off, to those who comment saying “the diffuser wasn’t deep enough” ... it’s not SUPPOSED to be deep. The purpose of a diffuser is to dry the hair without blowing/splitting the hair follicle aka drying the hair with an airflow that will limit movement as much as possible. This the long fingers to hold curly hair in place and small vents to limit the force of the air coming from the dryer. You should not be pressing it up against your head. YouTube is your best friend for this.Anyways this dryer cut my drying time in half So I truly believe it is an ionic hair dryer and the price can’t be beat! ***Update*** After just 4 months as suspected, the motor packed it in. I have had dozens of 'Blow Dryers". I have had so many that you can tell a very cheaply made Chinese bearing from a German or Japanese bearing. Even American made bearings will last for a very long time. I can tell you with confidence that this unit will fail because of the " VERY Cheap" bearing they used. I'm sure this unit costs less than $5 to make and package. It should not sell for more than 15-20 dollars. From the very first moment I turned it on I could hear the raspy sound of a very poor quality bearing.....I suspect this unit will fail within a few months of steady use. Read more

I'm absolutely obsessed with this hair dryer. Having curly hair I wanted a new one to help with frizz and be easier to use. It's nice and light weight, not overly loud and makes my hair come out significantly less frizzy and manageable. I love that I can use low heat because it's nice and cool and the cold shot button is so easy to keep pressed down. Cuts my drying time probably in half. Definitely recommend Read more

The diffuser head is very large and does a great job of drying my natural curls! Gives my hair volume while enhancing the shape of my curls. Another bonus is that I find it to be relatively quiet compared to other blow dryers doesn't take up as much room in storage either. Overall great product! Read more
