I was over the moon when I first purchased this, the first three days I had it were a dream. Everything was organized and looked nice. On the fourth day I traveled from Seattle to Connecticut with this as my carry-on for a wedding that I had been hired on.The shoulder strap broke, so I had to carry it awkwardly through the airport. After about a week of use all of the inserts started becoming loose, and will not stay in place. One of the zipper pulls broke off, and now 3 months down the road the mirror that came with it is broken, and I can’t find a mirror to replace where it went, so now I just have a big empty mirror carrying flap on the inside.It’s a great idea for beginner kits and artist who are just starting up. However for somebody who’s more of a seasoned vet, I would like something a bit sturdier that holds up through wear and tear. I’ve had other kits in the past that were similar, not as many organizational features, but held up at least five years without any flaws. Read more

If you are questioning which bag to buy in this style when ALL of them on amazon look exactly the same BUY THIS ONE! Two huge differences between this bag and others are 1. The mirror insert which is actually very convenient and good quality and 2. The top zip layer has actual pockets to fit products and not just elastic straps like every other bag like this. I got this for the pockets so it could fit more and get the most use and it's great! Last year I bought the smaller version of this case and wound up hating it because I had too much makeup and eventually all of the inserts were slipping out because the sections had been stretched and it was falling apart. I bought this one not realizing it was the same brand and actually love it in comparison. The size is perfect for the amount of makeup I have and it fits SO much stuff! I love that the top zipper section can fit all of my palettes and additional makeup wipes and bags and not have a problem shutting. The bottom half is amazing with fitting all of my makeup in the compartments and the mirror insert is SO helpful. The only downside I would say to this is that the makeup brush section is a bit crowded. I use the back layer for my large face brushes and the front for my smaller eye brushes and at times it can be hard to put them back in or fit them around each other, but they all still fit so I am happy with it! Definitely a huge upgrade from the smaller size and not overwhelmingly large either. Now my smaller one is exclusively my travel bag and this one holds my entire collection. Read more

I'm not a make up artist. I'm more of a professional medical patient and my rxs, OTCs and essential oils and supplements are across four makeup bags similar to the red one pictured. It's just too much to keep organized and I have always wanted all of my "stuff" in one place. I was excited finding this bag.The photo is only my first attempt. I expect to change things around 1-2 times to make it perfect for my anal self. But the best thing to note is that everything necessary from the three bags fits into this new bag and I will be able to double up on some up the compartments. There is a method to the organization madness: AM meds @ left, PM @ top, oils and OTCs low mid and far right. Easy to spot, which is *great*. Although I do travel, I don't have the daily need to travel like you pros, and I won't be putting the pressure on the straps that you all do, so my needs are different. Upgrading with downsizing, the constant progression of the MUA. This bag came recommended from pros already using it in the field. It did not disappoint this pro either. It makes me happy every time I use my bag. It answers so many situations....1. No table, no problem 2. Tiny space (probably no table), no problem 3. Add more product, no problem 4.
