After reading a couple of negative reviews stating this was difficult to prime as well as hard to squeeze and use, I almost didn't buy it. But I decided to risk it and am very glad I did!'Priming it consisted only of squeezing one drop onto a paper towel or piece of gauze, etc., partly to 'Get the feel' of how hard to squeeze when using it for your eyes.It took me all of about 2 minutes to open and read the instructions, follow them, then put the drops in my eyes!I did not find the bottle difficult to squeeze at all. As a matter of fact it was EASIER to squeeze than the smaller, regular bottle with preservatives. You basically take the clear outer cap off. Pull off the little plastic seal on the inner lid, remove it, but keep to put back on when finished. Prime it by squeezing a drop out onto something. Place a drop in each eye. Put the lid back on and you are done! Read more
Surprisingly helpful to substitute for all those individual dispensers when you have to use preservative free eye drops. Hard to dispense, but once you get the feel required, not so bad. It works for purpose of moisturizing dry eyes No more Individual plastic vials for me. Read more
The container is designed to keep the preservative-free contents sterile when administering under normal conditions. The problem is that after only a few applications it is impossible to administer the drops no matter how hard I squeeze the bottle. I contacted the manufacturer and was informed that Amazon is not an authorized seller and therefore the company would not take responsibility for the product. The company manufactured the product, sold it and was paid. What possible difference could it make that Amazon not xyz drug store sold it to the consumer? It was defective and that is what matters. I would venture to speculate that if all of this manufacturer's products were removed from Amazon they would see a significant decline in sales. Maybe then they would re-think how they treat consumers. Read more
I think either what I received is defective or this product has serious side effects. I opened the case and put eye drops as soon as I received it. After an hour or so, my eyes got a little itchy and I felt a little cloud which has gone mins later. A few hours later I checked my mirror and found that there's a big blood vessel to break in my left eye. I have used various eye drops and never had this kind of problem. It was so scary. Several days have passed and it's getting better but it still not completely recovered. I usually don't write a review but I'm obliged to do so now. Read more
I used the product that my ophthalmologist recommended, but my eye remained red and uncomfortable. In searching for something else, I read about Refresh Relieva and the fact that it had no preservatives. I don't know if that is the reason that I am not having the discomfort anymore, but I only had to apply it once yesterday in the late afternoon when the package arrived. I never felt compelled to reapply the drop again before I went to sleep because I was not in discomfort! When I awakened this morning I did not run to the mirror to check the status of my eye because the offending eye was not hurting me. I have been awake for more than 2 hours and only just applied a drop because I am getting ready to leave my home to do some errands. I have been suffering for over a year. I am so relieved to have some comfort! Read more
i read ALLLLLL the neg reviews.Sad there were only a few good ones at the time i read them.So it was with much trepidation i bought my first bottel of Refresh Relieva. The best revieu that made me give this a try was the one where the person said she followed the directions andSqueezed the first drop 💧 on the paper and it was NOT hard to use.And thats the same experience ive had with the drops from the primeing the bottle. And YES , i recommend these.i have sever dry eye and my eye dr tildvme to use drops and at night the ointment. The first time i used the ointment there was NO WAY WAS i going to put what amounts to puttung vaselene in ur eyeSo im hoping these drops will help me better tgat all the other drops ive tryed Read more
I prefer these drops over others because they actually feel thick, like they're actually lubricating my eyeball. I had LASIK done a couple months ago and have the characteristic dry-eye. Other brands I've tried just feel watery and don't seem to do the same quality job as these. I'll stick with these until my eyes fully heal, then probably keep a bottle on hand if I need them in the future. Read more
I looked at multiple reviews before I ordered. Many comments were about how hard these drops were to dispense. I thought I’d try anyway. After using this bottle for three weeks, I’m going to switch to the vials instead. The drops do come out, but I have to squeeze pretty hard for them to come out. The company, I feel, needs to do some work on the bottle before I purchase the bottle again. The actual product is good. Read more
