I have over processed bleached hair. I have been using Fekkai reparative oil for several years because it’s been the only oil to make my hair silky. Lately it’s been more difficult to find and I can only order from fekkai. It’s $25 plus tax and shipping so I decided to give something else a try. So glad I did! This Redken oil has very similar ingredients to the Fekkai one but it’s more product and comes in a pump which is much more convenient than the Fekkai bottle which has a dropper type application that never distributed enough and usually malfunctions. This Redken oil transformed the texture of my hair. I use two full pumps on damp hair and another pump on dry. It gives me softness like nothing I’ve used. It outperforms the Fekkai oil by far. It doesn’t make the hair feel heavy or weighed down at all. Scent is subtle. This is the only product I use in my hair now. Got to throw out my leave in conditioners and protein leave in. I started using this once I became mature. Maturing changed my hairs texture and it became dull, it was devastating bc my hair was my vain glory.It works best if put on wet hair. My hair is again shiny and healthy! Only when using this product does my hair appear healthy. FRIED short hair from over processed tx. Bought $$$$ remedy’s and nothing worked. Saw this on a beauty blogger site and she was right! This has greatly helped. I leave in thru day if just hanging out couple x a week. After 3 weeks could see a huge improvement.Now after I blow dry I just put on my hands a small amount and run my hands thru hair. The product works very well and am pleased with the results. What I was not happy with was when I opened the package the top was not on tight and the product had spilled out of the bottle. I have been needing something for my hair to help with frizz and have tried several products but this is by far the best! It is not heavy and calms the frizz down immediately. It literally only takes a pea size amount. My hair is long, fine, and frizzy curly; however, I have used a flat iron for many years so the frizz is out of control, lol. Last time I went to have my hair bleach, the stylist used this on me and I was sold! My hair is over processed, dry, brittle and frizzy. She made my hair look AMAZING. When I went to purchase at Ulta, they were sold out. An employee was actually looking for it as well. When I told her I found it on Amazon, she commented that it was way cheaper on here, even after her discount.The only thing I don't love about it is that it does feel like it leaves a residue, but it is oil. I've used a lot of oils and serums as my hair can get really fluffy and frizzy, especially in heat. This oil is a miracle worker and the only oil I've repeatedly bought. I have been using this for over a year. It does a wonderful job of softening and shining my thick coarse hair and keeps it in good shape with no split ends. It also protects from the heat of straighteners and hair driers as well as speeding up the drying process. If you have finer flyaway hair this will not be the product for you but if you have drier hair it will be just perfect. Read more
