It's a bit too soon to speak on durability, but at least it didn't crack after two uses like a similar brush I purchased at a large retailer.This medium handle length is difficult to find in boar bristle bath brushes, as the longer ones are the standard... and those longer brush handles can get heavy. This moderately-long handle gets to those hard to reach places and doesn't induce fatigue post-shower. You can really tell the difference between these boar and synthetic bristles, too. Recommended! I received this brush July 30. It is now August 3rd and it has already has a crack in it. It still functions well although I wish I had purchased the one with the longer handle. I re-read some of the one and two star reviews and see cracks are a common problem. Read more
Nicely constructed, and it seems as though the issue with bristles falling out experienced with other brands, isn't an issue with this one. My only gripe about it is that the bristles are entirely TOO soft. Good luck getting your back clean. Maybe they'll release one with better firmer bristles (like a LOT firmer!). Then, I'll buy that one. This one just sits underneath the bathroom sink, perhaps until someone with extremely fragile skin decides to visit, and wants to take a shower. Read more
Most brushes are made in China; this brush is made in Germany. The quality is much better as China-made brushes have a tendency to rust and to fall out where the bristles are stapled together and embedded into the wood; however, the Germany-made brush is much better constructed with better materials--and it seems to have a longer handle than many others.
