I purchase this flat iron because it's the same brand I already have. This little thing is pretty much a piece of junk especially in comparison with the other 1/2" Kiss titanium flat iron I use almost daily. The on/off switch is in an awkward place and the plates DO NOT TOUCH. What's the point of even trying to use this thing if the plates won't touch. Exactly. I sure wish I had paid more attention to those details before throwing away the packaging and using it a couple times and ending up frustrated because my hair never looked any different. I used it for the first time and this flat iron is nothing but the Gods. I’m glad I trusted myself to use this and try it out. It was much cheaper on Amazon than the beauty supply store. I love it so much and the shine that it gives it amazing. There is no burnt smell at all when you are flat iron your hair , the only downfall is that the most section you do have to keep adding water but I see that you have to turn the iron off let it cool and add water.
