Great product for keeping mosquitoes away. We think the night sky scent smells like mens cologne. In a good way! We have a cabin in country and chiggers and ticks are bad. I recently tried this on a hike in the woods at peak mosquito season (during a very wet summer, so even more mosquitoes around than usual!). My husband and I sprayed this all over ourselves before our hike, and even though I could literally see the mosquitoes swarming my husband in front of me, to the point where we almost turned around... they never landed on him (and I could hear/feel them flying around me too). Shockingly, neither of us had even ONE mosquito bite when we got home! It also has a nice, non chemically smell. Will definitely be using this exclusively now! I purchased Ranger Ready because it was the safest bug repellent spray I could find. It works well, but the night sky fragrance still smells like all the other chemical bug sprays that are for sale (like OFF). So, I gave this a 4 rating. It is nice for travel because of the size of the spray bottle. Also like that the spray does not go everywhere when you use the spray. Overall, for the safety factor, this is really a 4.75 rating. Haven’t had a chance to try it yet, so I will update once I test it, but when my bottle arrived today it had been leaking in the box, so I lost about a quarter of the bottle to the leak. It smells pleasant, so I am hoping it is effective in keeping the bugs away on the golf course, they have been awful, and the reviews I have read on other sites gives this item high marks,Update: I changed my review to five stars after using this product. My home golf course has issues with gnats that swarm around your head and can draw. Look if they bite you. Last evening when using Ranger Ready I noticed a difference in the number of the little buggers flying around my head. The scent is nic, not strong and over powering. It is a little oily but it works SO well and for so many hours (and smells like a cologne) that I don't care. I mean you may not want to wear it on a date but if you're going hiking and need protection from any sort of bug... This is it! Guaranteed! We live in the woods and just playing in the yard or walking the dog turns us into a buffet! Well not anymore! I even put it on my dog where it lasts even longer, due to the fur. every night at 7:00 it's valet trash collection at our apartment. Flies surround our front doors from 6-10 pm it's so annoying, can't open the door without a few trying to get inside. I had high hopes for this stuff as a repellant for the door and surrounding walls but it had no effect on them. I heavily sprayed the door, frame, walls each night before trash pick up and it (although smells nice) did nothing. I actually went out one night and sprayed the fly's directly and sll it did was shoo them away temporarily. Does not smell like insecticide. I hope it works as well on ticks as it does on mosquitoes and other bugs. I was horseback riding and sprayed my horse with fly spray for horses before we left. However, we got into a hatch of bugs like something out of a horror movie. They were attacking his face. I sprayed his face with Ranger Ready and they swarmed him/us but did not bit us. Read more

I used this product for the first time today to pick blackberries in my backyard and came back in with no fewer than 20 mosquito bites on my feet and legs, which I had very carefully sprayed. I had another dozen on my arms. What a complete waste of money!!! Read more
