I thought these were silly for the longest time. I didn't believe they could possibly be much different than the regular, round-tipped Q-Tips.Is anyone else periodically amazed by their own ability to be crazy, super, stupid wrong?Q-Tips are an essential part of my makeup application, as I am a long-time devotee of the black liquid liner cat eye/wing ("long time" as in "since high school," about which I will not elaborate, save to say that two digits are required to express the year span in question).I finally decided to give these a shot a few months ago, and they are outstanding. They really do help to create a sharp, straight line to the wing. See, drawing it right in the first place has never been my method. Instead, I attack my eyelid with ink and hope for a good result. I almost never get one. So I go back with a moist Q-Tip and fix whatever wonky cosmetic atrocity I've inevitably created. As well as the round tip Q-Tips work for this, these pointed ones are leaps and bounds better for creating that elusive crisp line.They also precisely remove lipstick from non-lip locations and polish from areas more finger than nail. The price of these on Amazon were almost 3 times more. I have not been able to find the precision tips (yellow one in photograph) so I opted to buy these Qtip Precision Tips on Amazon. The quality of Qtip brand is not equal to the yellow Qtip. The Qtip brand does not offer precision like the yellow one. If you are looking for absorption then Qtip brand is the way to go. If your looking for precision then I need to find the yellow ones. Read more

OK, I am a cotton round snob. It seems like the dumbest thing to be so particular about, but hey - I use one every day! I use these daily for my toner. I can't stand the ones that fall apart. The CVS "premium" cotton rounds used to be awesome, but they must have switched suppliers. The packaging is different, and the product is nowhere near as good. All the brands at Target, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, and Jewel - same thing (seriously, I have tried them all). Surprisingly, I can sometimes find a good one at the Dollar Tree. But I have to buy everything they have because they don't always have them. I read the reviews on these and got my hopes up. Score! They are exactly right. I added them to my subscriptions and get one sleeve every other month. Highly recommend! Read more

Absolutely love these! The price is so much better than the little pack of Swispers you get in the beauty section. Let’s see, 3/pk. Of 170 ct./per box for less than $8? Thats a total of 510. Or you could spend around $2 per pack for between 75-80 ct. of an inferior product. These are the real deal. They’ Q-tips brand so you know they’re good. I'm kicking myself for waiting til I finished my regular Q-tip supply before purchasing the Precision Tips. Every second counts when applying makeup, and I wasted too many precious minutes (and unnecessary energy) with the regular tips. Penny wise, pound foolish!The Precision Tips save me so much time because - unlike with the regular tips that are much fuzzier - I can make quick swipes AND not have to deal w any annoying stray fibers getting stuck to my lashes or eyelids, thereby sparing me the effort and frustration with both application and fiber removal. And since I only wear waterproof mascara and am often clumsy with my application, sometimes I need to use eye makeup remover on the Q-tips to remove the smudges from my eyelids; the PT's tight, angular shape prevents me from getting any of the solvent on my eyelashes. Before, I had to use 1 to 2 of the regular tips (4 ends total) each time, now I only need to use just 1 PT (2 ends total).These are also fantastic for removing nail polish on the cuticles and for anything else that requires accuracy.A must in every beauty arsenal.Update as of Nov 12, 2020:I re-ordered these in 2019 and am down to the last handful. The swabs are no longer pointy and tight as advertised. They're fuzzy, and they come apart on contact. They're also very rough now and too abrasive to use on eyelids.Where, per my prior review, I only needed 1 PT (2 swabs) when cleaning up mascara, with this second batch I was back to using 2-3 PT's (4-6 swabs). These are second best to another favorite brand I like to use. Sturdy. Absorbent. Good for precision, but not great. The tips could be much more pointier for tighter areas. The cotton wrap could also be more compact to make a harder tip. These have a looser wrap so I had to get it wet and squeeze and twist to try to “mold” a better tip. I would buy again if I cant find my favorite brand. —The seller or packager for the product sucked though. The listing says pack of 3 and I got a pack of 1. Very disappointed. Hard to contact seller. I love these. I go through them so quickly. I usually put some Micellar Cleansing Water on them and will use it as a way to clean and exfoliate my clients skin before I apply any moisturizer or makeup. This are perfect when you use it this was because it will help remove any fall out from eyeshadow or any mistake you make with makeup. I have tried just wetting them but it does not have the same effect. I usually ask my clients to have clean skin when they come in but I will still use these rounds with the Micellar Cleansing Water to remove any bacteria from outside. These may be good as a lighter way to exfoliate with face wash. I have not tried that. This does a great job with most things you do to it. I have also used it with alcohol to disinfect makeup or with fingernail polish remove to remove my nail polish. They work great however I use them. Read more

These qtips are great for makeup, but for smaller areas like around nails for nail art they are a little big and can end up making them hard to use. There is a bit too much cotton to be as precise as it should be. Read more
