Ok, sue me. I admit it, I use them to clean my ears. I really tried to clean my ears with my elbows but it just wasn't working. I even tried with my wife's elbows. She was reluctant to help but realized it was not the dumbest thing I've ever asked her to do. She tried but ultimately we both concluded that though no one should ever stick anything smaller than their elbows in their ear, Q-tips just work. It;s Q-tips. There is not a lot to be said about them, except that there really IS a difference when it comes to the amount of cotton on the swab, as well as how well it stays on the swab. Q-Tip brand has a nice amount of cotton - you won't scratch your ear with the stick on these.I've also not had the cotton come off in my ear like one of the cheap brands.This is one of those little items that are worth paying for the name brand.
